Stronger than I thought it'd be. We ended up putting a heavy toolbox on the very top & it balances and doesn't seem like it's going to buckle. I like that you can design it in any formation. Though, keep in mind that if you don't do a perfect square you might be short a piece or two. That's okay for us. Works perfect under our stairs to hold extra supplies. & the price is right! Bought the small cubes at Target for $5/each. Oh yeah... the instructions were only in German! 🤣 But if you have ever played with legos, it will be as easy as that to snap these into place.

Very easy to set up by yourself, unless you are doing something larger (might still be able to do it by yourself). The provided mallet is very usual in setting it up. Each individual panels feels flimsy, but once they are connected becomes a lot more sturdy as whole unit. Unless you plan on setting it up as recommended, you might not have enough connectors. A simple call to customer service, great service by the way, is all I needed and they sent me more for what I wanted to set up. I still have extra panels and 2 (they sent 8 and all I needed was 6) connectors that I can't do anything with.

Only complaint was I received a box that looked as if it had been returned and 2 panels were missing. I reached out to the company, but the hoops they require are more than its worth to get parts replaced. Other than that a decent product for the cost

First, the unit looks very good. I was surprised that the individual square panels were flexible, not solid, so it does not feel as strong as I expected, and you cannot sit a heavier display piece in one of the cubbies (like 3-4 pounds), i.e., a piece of pottery, because the flexibility will dip and not be level/sturdy. But it looks good and will be good for the purpose I needed (to hold individual bins). The reason for only 3 stars is that the photos show multiple configurations, and I purchased this unit to have one 3x4 set of cubes and one 2x2 set separate. It was shown in photos to have separate configurations and that made this the perfect option for what I needed. However, I discovered it only had sufficient cubes and flat panels for the 4x4 configuration. AND there was no indication in the product listing or link to order more of the connectors or that more would be needed. My 2x2 set does not have back panels as there were not enough to do so. I had to contact the seller to ask about getting additional connectors so my 2x2 set (without any back) could be assembled. The seller provided a link to me to order more connectors, which I ordered and paid for. I totally would not have minded paying for the extra connectors, and the additional backers, if there had simply been a link with the original listing to note that the other items would be needed for different configurations, and then the link could have taken me to where to add those to my order. I fell that I should not have had to jump through the extra hoops after receipt to contact the seller, order additional connectors, and be without a back to the second configuration pieces.

After watching a YouTube video on building the cubes it was very easy for me to do by myself. The framework is very sturdy and the plastic sheets make them a safe place for me to store my yarn stash. I have bought and built 4 sets of these cubes. I highly recommend them.

I did not have enough pieces to make the full amount of storage cubes. What I do have is very sturdy, my bath and body works do not like standing up inside of it but my medicine does. I have boots that fit in the bottom. We are using one of the cubes for a Lego kit and keeps it standing. Overall I am happy with my purchase and a little disappointed I am missing some pieces.

I wanted a bookcase for my child, I didn't want to spend a lot because I'm moving soon. I saw this one and would like to try it. The assembly was a bit difficult for me at first because I didn't pay attention to the instructions. As you can see I have a lot of books in it, I didn't think it could hold that much due to some of the reviews I read. If this shelf is assembled well, it is very solid. If you feel that yours is not as sturdy as you wished it to be, take my advice, reassemble it and you will see. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it to my friends.
