First I thought the railing would be thicker, not strong at all, started to bend when I hung my clothes. So recommend hanging lighter clothing. Easy to build though and kinda cute.

I needed an external closet because we have such tiny closets in this old house. This closet was pretty easy to put together. I followed the directions and I think it was finished in about 15 minutes. It is sturdy and attractive. We store some heavy winter coats on it, jeans, cargo pants, hoodies, two big warm robes, shoes in that bin, that giant hat box, a backpack with school supplies, that box with all the mail from colleges, and his gym bag. It holds so much and there is an entire old that we’re only using for extra hangars that is under those hoodies. I’ll hang t-shirts on it when he leaves for college! We been testing it for about a month and it is very sturdy. It has been an answer to our prayers to have additional closet space. I love that you can customize the design to some extent. This is our second configuration.

This arrived with all the necessary pieces packed impeccably and clear and concise instructions. NOTE : Lay everything out before you begin. Make sure all pieces are in the correct places (they’re labeled). As with all furniture of this type do not fully tighten up all the pieces until you are completely finished. This will ensure a level build and save you lots of time re-doing it. I got this for clothing and macrame. Thanks so much to Lisa W. I’m notorious for using things for unintended purposes and Lisa’s use of this piece for macrame was so intriguing. I do large projects as well and until this was using a four poster bed frame. This is much better. This took me about 38 minutes from laying out to finished build. It’s pretty sturdy and can be used for many different purposes. If you have occasion to utilize a piece like this for whatever purpose this is an excellent choice. Highly recommend.

Prepare yourself, this will take some time to assemble. Also, assemble it where it is going to be placed. This is a great solution if you have space you want to use for clothing storage. In my case, this has replaced the flimsy clothing racks that were in an upstairs storage closet. There are quite a few parts, but once assembled it's a great solution for our clothing storage.

This SONGMICS Clothing Rack is pretty solid and adjustable to suit your needs. There's included hardware to attach to the wall to keep from falling over, but honestly this won't be an issue in my case. There're no little ones to pull it down and it seems very solid. The instructions are pretty clear and in 5 languages. Yes, English is one of them! The best part of this unit is that everything is wrapped tightly and separately and then tie-wrapped inside the package. NOTHING was rattling around in the box. Nothing was missing. Perfect! The separate packs are marked with a corresponding # or letter that matches the instructions. Easy peasy to put together, but it will take you a bit of time. Maybe an hour or so to get it right. I don't like the way the shelves meet to join as one. Save yourself some time and look carefully to be sure the bolt will go through all pieces. The design may be in the way and you'll need to move the pieces. Lots of area to hold other stuff up top and down below. There are some hooks included to hang other items on the side, or wherever. One works perfectly to hold my robe nearby. The materials are strong and didn't seem to scratch or ding while installing. Good product. My clothes are all too long to do the 1/2 thing. Rod over rod. So, I'll probably readjust to accommodate. IDK. It works and looks fine like it is and my clothes are all finally in the same room. YAY! :-D

I really wanted to like this, and it is a great concept. I have never put something together that came in as many parts and pieces as this thing does, and it is confusing and frustrating. I had to cut about 20 zip ties off in order to get everything apart. Apparently, their sister company sells zip ties, because this is loaded with them! After trying to decipher the instructions which are very limited and sketchy to begin with, the installation was not a breeze, pretty exhausting and lengthy. And at the end of the day, the thing is wobbly, and I am sure it will come crashing down at some point. I got this because it was freestanding, so the fact that you need to attach it to a wall to be more stable is disappointing. Not impressed.
