Great watch and jewelry box! I like the glass window and the window happened to be the exact same size as my professional jewelry cleaning cloth so if I have company over I can set the cloth on top of the watches then just close the box and it looks like just an ordinary box. I love the rough textured wood, It gives it an old timeish feeling. Overall It's great. It holds all my expensive watches, rings, bracelets, necklaces and more! For the price I highly recommend this box. No, It's not the best ever made but it is sturdy, well made, Holds quite a lot for It's size and In my opinion is most definitely worth the price. I went with four of the 12 watch cases instead of two 24’s. I have stacked the cases with no ill affects. (Only 2 high) Just make sure the cases are completely square around the perimeter. The outer wood frame seems stronger than the case bottom. The cases have a real glass lid and have had no issues keeping my Solar watches charged. My two radio controlled watches have had no issues receiving their signals.. I have found that on larger watches with stiff straps they fit in case better without the pillows. The watch case has a felt lining to prevent any scratches. There is enough clearance between the top of watch dividers and glass to put moisture absorbing bags in case with watches. The case does not lock which would be nice to keep curious little hands out. The only minor complaint I have is the wood is rough cut and I got a splinter when I first got them. All and all the case seems to be of decent quality at a good price. ... show more

The first one I received the drawer was hard to pull out, so I returned for a replacement. This is really nice. The color is as stated and has a smooth finish and looks great on the dresser. It's nice to have all your watches in one display in a dust free environment and be able to choose which one to wear at a glance. Plenty of room in the drawer for rings, bracelets and chains. The glass top lets enough light thru to charge my echo-drive watches. The only thing for me is that a few of my echo-drive watches take up the whole width of the slot but still fit without touching. Beautiful! Bought this for my youngest son as one of his college graduation gifts because he is an avid watch collector. I had also bought a similar one for my oldest son when he graduated college, which he still uses today, so it clearly makes a fantastic keepsake. I think it is a beautiful gift and something that will stay with them a lifetime. The first one I bought was alot more expensive than this one so you are definitely getting a great product for the price. While this case is amazing, I only took off a star because I do think the wood is alot thinner (not cheap or flimsy) than I would like. Its definitely sturdy but I wonder how it will wear over time in comparison to the first one I bought but for the price, I think its great! Just got this and I'm a happy little camper. This watch case is solid and built well. The top is glass and is packed well for shipping. The hinges aren't that exciting but they work well and will hold the top open. The pillows are nice and soft - not stiff. There are 4 small feet on the bottom which helps keep it off the dresser a bit and slide well. The bottom drawer is great for my pocket and smaller watches, as well as other doodads. I finally have a nice-looking case to put all the loose timepieces I had everywhere in my bedroom. Looking around the internet there are so many choices at so many price levels (and many bad reviews), so I thought I would buy an 'amazon one' for now. But honestly, this case checks all the boxes and is now a permanent addition to my bedroom. The only picky downside is the front is not one solid piece of wood, so you can easily see the lid, front, and drawer as separate pieces. (a hand-made one would use one piece of wood to make it look seamless.). The bottom drawer is great but not as smooth as something custom-made either. But none if these is a detractor. For $35 this is an amazing deal, and I highly recommend it. ... show more

I like this box, and would recommend for a few reasons. After having a few 6 slot watch boxes with black felt interior, it was nice to have this one with a lighter toned interior. Makes the interior brighter and the watches more visible when displayed. The pillows make it much easier to store watches than with the hard, oval shaped ones you see on standard watch boxes. Better shape for various watch bands and bracelets, especially if you have a smaller sized wrist. It's a simple, wood, finished exterior, which I like better than the PU leather exteriors on other boxes. And I like the hook latch that secures the box. All in all, I would buy again in the future. But, I feel this one will last me for some time! 2 things to note: the first one I ordered had a warped top, and wouldn't fully close. Amazon sent me a replacement and it was perfect! The other thing is that I wish there were replacement pillows available, in case the included pillows get worn out over time. But, that's no big deal either way. ... show more

Let's start with this... It is real wood. It may be a species of Walnut, but not any I am familiar with. Unfortunately, the wood is raw and has no discernible finish on it. The ends of the drawer front are finished poorly and it doesn't fit the case well. The "velvet" liner is just barely velvet. The drawer is handy but not well constructed.
