I bought these shoes, and they didn't last more than 10 matches. I haven't even used them for an entire season, and the outsole has already torn apart. This is really disappointing, especially since my return window has already closed. I initially loved the quality and even recommended them to many of my friends, some of whom bought them recently. Now, I'm worried they might face the same issue. Should my friends return these before their return window closes, or is this just a defect with my pair? Is there any customer care support available to help with this issue? If anyone from the company sees this review, please let me know how to get in touch.     • Love the S8. Almost Perfect. Would've given 4.5 stars if possible.
I had bought s8 in 2023 and used it for 3 years before buying it again. Major difference is the inner sole and weight. Thank God the weight is reduced!! I have a few comments 1. The fit is good I am 8.5 and a 9 fits me well with compression socks. 2. I am a bowler so I highly value the strap!! The stability is off the charts and I can confidently plant my feet with speed while bowling. I thing this one of the few brands who offer straps for non metal spikes shoes. 3. Quality of the rubber spikes is top notch. My upper tore but the spikes were only 30% worn out. 4. Upper protect my feet from dew and sometimes wet fields so that is a plus. Now the negatives 1. Would have loved a little lighter shoe. This is a major plus from previous gen that I had but I guess it could be better. 2. The lace needs to be a litter longer. 3. And extra hole for a runners knot would really help to increase the heel stability. 4. Semi/Fully gusseted tongue would help increase the comfort. Not sure how considering the upper isn't a fabric material but just a thought. 5. More colorways for the strap version please. Overall the negatives are just nitpicking from a shoe whis is value for every penny spent. Plus it doesn't look bad at all. ... show more

This is my second pair of SOLM8 cricket shoes, and I’m really impressed. They feel extremely comfortable while playing, especially on softball fields, and they perform well on both grass and muddy conditions. Compared to the S4 Advance Cricket Shoes I used for the past year, these are noticeably lighter, which makes a big difference during longer games. My only suggestion would be to offer a wide-fit option, as I need a wider shoe and don’t currently see that available from SOLM8.     • Solm8 S8 - Return of the fast bowlers toe!
I'm a fast bowler and somehow the Soulmate S7s didn't give me the Fast bowlers toe injury - iykyk . I was relieved to have finally found a brand that addressed this issue. when the sole of my S7s gave out, I came looking for new Solm8 shoes, and the S8s have so far been extremely disappointing. I think I will hesitate to consider Solm8 shoes again based on my experience with the S8. I bought these shoes last year, and wore them a handful of times. I've had to deal with blisters each time, and in fact had the nail on my big toe fall off completely. Long story short: S7 - made me want to come back S8 - makes me want to look for other options. ... show more
