Though I've only used this rubber block (a couple times) "jacking" my Nissan Titan Truck, it worked just fine and gave me some peace of mind. In the past I worried that my wood block would give-out or slip. I didn't notice any slip or stress using this rubber block.....happy customer.

I bought these for use when lifting my 2002 F150 4X4. For the cost, I assumed they would be solid. They are basically a block of material that has a lid held on by 4 screws. I have not taken the lid off to inspect. During my first use I observed minor compression and the blocks held but seemed stressed. This leads me to longevity concerns as my vehicle is not close to the 8000lbs advertised. I am giving this item a rating of 3.75 and a recommendation for use with nothing heavier than 6800lbs.

After years of using improvised blocks on my lift pads for additional spacing, I happened upon these heavy duty solutions. They are strong, slip resistant, and most importantly, they are much safer than the wood blocks I used in the past. I've only been using these for a few days, but from the looks of things, they should hold up in the long run.

The nylon layer reinforcement part came off soon after first use. I took that part and threw it away and kept the main rubber part which has worked well but a piece of wood from Home Depot would have been just as helpful.

I haven’t used it yet. But it appears it will do the job. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of five is the smell. The smell is overwhelming. I left it outside for a couple of days. I put in my jeep for storage and had to leave it outside again. Hopefully the smell goes away.
