Price: $20 for 1st pair, $24 for second. Update: I received a pair of actual converse as a gift because someone saw how much I like these so I can now compare them. Converse has a thicker sole and more durable feel. Converse is also much wider. I actually prefer these over my converse because they are much more comfortable and fit my foot better due to being more slim. Pre-update review: I've recently purchased my second pair of these. I've never had converse so I can't compare the two but I got tons of complements on my "converse." Nobody ever noticed they were knock-offs until I told them when I bragged about the price. These are extremely comfortable shoes. The ankle support is nice, the natural walking pattern and tightness, and the lack of padding all add up to a sock-like shoe. I really like them. I like white shoes but am not a clean person. These hold up pretty well in the washing machine and get pretty clean too. I feel comfortable throwing them in with my whites because they're cheap so who cares if they wear out. I recently went to my ACL, a 3-day festival, after 6 months of wearing these a few times a week. After this fest it was time to retire them and I bought a new pair. Basically for the money and aesthetic appeal these are great. Think they may have gone up a few dollars this year but what hasn't. They fit very true to typical sizing. Happy choice for kids who outgrow shoes fast

My son needed white high top canvas shoes for choir but I didn’t want to drop the money for the expensive brands since he is in a major growth spurt right now. These have worked well. They look nice and even though they don’t have a stamp with a fancy logo on it, no one seems to care or notice. They have held up well and the front rubber toe reinforcement is nice since my kids’ big toes always rip through fabric shoes. The rubber also cleans up well, which is nice because that part of the shoes usually gets the dirtiest. I’m not totally sure about comfort—my son has had to wear these for like 12 hours straight while being on his feet, dancing, and performing with no complaints. I’m not sure any canvas shoes in this style is worn for comfort or foot support, though. We found these to be true to size. Probably best to use arch supports added for comfort. These are meant to be for the look, not for long-life perfection. Well made. I dyed two pairs two different colors and added more decorative color laces; the rubber soles and sides keep original color, which is good. Very cool look! I haven’t worn high tops like these since I was in high school over 50+ years ago! Extremely comfortable, well made and the soles don’t slide on floors like the cheap Walmart ones, and who needs the overpriced Converse, PF Flyers and other name brands!

If you need a cheap and disposable shoe in a wide range of colors, you've found it.
Size: 9 Color: Red
Folks say ya get what ya pay for if you're lucky, & I did. Overall these are cheap red shoes, vaguely boot-like that I needed for an event. At the price they're pretty disposable, which is a good thing since there's not a lot to them. Style & Color. Yup these are very red. Exactly as ordered. Quality. Not much to talk about. Durability. Don't bet on it. I need these for a one day event. They'll do. Beyond that I wouldn't make any long term plans with 'em. Adequate material, but no more than that. Kinda thin Support, arch or otherwise. You'll really want something else. Sizing. I'm a 9E as measured by Red Wing's fancy system. So a bit less than 9 in length and a bit wide but not terribly so. I ordered the Men's U.S. 9. Length is a hair long. I could have gone 8.5. Width. the 9 was probably the right choice for the ball of my foot and my toes; although they lack of structure is such that I can use a thick sock on 'em, so maybe not. I don't think I'd go more than half a size down if they're all like this, but YMMV. ... show more

Love the bright red color
Size: 9 Color: Red
The shoes look great, just like the photo, but the wrong size . I could have did this by era or not double checking the size. How ever , the second pair is arriving today. I pray it’s the correct size. I need to return the one delivered yesterday.
