We wanted lights like this for a while, but so many strings are too short for where we wanted them. These are perfect. The solar panel charged in no time, and they were bright and beautiful from the first moment we put them up. The remote control is really awesome, as well. You don't have to be in a particular place for it to work. We keep ours by the front door and when we are ready for them to go off at night, we just point it toward our window, quite a way from the solar panel, and they easily go off. I like the lights a lot, but when it is charged by solar it’s not as bright as I would like even on the brightest setting. When you charge it via an outlet, it’s really bright. I also like that you can dim the lights and control it with a remote.

These solar powered lights are so nice. We (husband) put these on our pergola and they really look great. The lights provide a comforting ambience and the remote dimmer allows better star gazing or just more subtle mood lighting. Not super bright, but fun nonetheless. Love them.

The media could not be loaded. LOVE these lights! I never knew you could buy them in sets this long. We had originally bought 4 sets at a big box store to cover the same space as one set of these. They also did not have a dusk to dawn setting or different modes…these are a definite upgrade! I also like how the shape of the bulbs is like the old fashion Edison bulbs with the slight tip at the bottoms of the bulbs. They charge all day, turn on automatically at dusk, and are still light up until at least 4 in the morning as far as I have personally seem. They seem to be made of quality materials and went up very easily. They also had clips included to help hang them. I plan to get one more set for my side fence. It makes my back yard look so fancy and inviting when you drive by at night and it’s just enough light to let us move around the yard without having to turn on the big outdoor wall mounted lights. ... show more

This is a great product overall for the price. Couple of things to know however: 1) This product will NOT work while plugged in (no option to have on charger and lit at same time - just flickers/flashes and turns off) 2) Runs about 6 hours on full charge - definitely not 8 hours 3) Can easily run for 2 hours with solar charge every night. 4) Only turns on in dark - no option for evening ambiance that I can tell 5) You MUST use the remote to control - don't lose it 6) Remote works from a LONG distance - at least 25 feet if not more ... show more
