I bought this after PG&E decided to shut off everyone's power for about a day and a half and I wasn't able to make my coffee one morning. I tested it a little and so far I will say it's pretty good for short term life, it can run most of my tower fans 1 at a time on high for roughly 2 hours and I'll definitely get my coffee in the morning now but would've liked for the power to last a bit more. I am still looking into getting the solar panel to add to this for time where we lose power for multiple days, but the panel will cost more than the unit itself. We have power outages in California ALL THE TIME! I needed something to have one hand when the wind blew a tiny bit and SCE decided to shut off our power. This little device packs a big punch. It is perfect for when our power is off over night and we need to have our son's sound machine on and his nightlight. It keeps them on all night long and the price is amazing. After going without power for 15 hours with hurricane Debby and then 5 days with Helene, having to charge my phone in my car, and spending 5 miserable sleepless nights because of the heat, we decided to be more prepared next time. I bought this power station so that I can at least charge my phone and a chargeable fan. We also bought a generator for our refrigerator and a portable AC unit. This little power station is the bomb. We haven't been without power again, but I quickly charged my fan with it and use it almost daily to power a couple of lights with USB connectors. It works great. Very sturdy. We'll be prepared for the next hurricane now. I'll be and to keep my phone charged, feel more comfortable on hot nights with my rechargeable fan, and have light to see at night.
