If you already love the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream or the Cheirosa 62 body mist, this is that scent, but stronger, deeper, and actually long-lasting. This is a warm, sweet gourmand. As soon as you spray it, you get a nutty pistachio and almond, followed by that warm salted caramel and vanilla scent that Sol de Janeiro is known for. It’s sweet, but not in a sugary, candy way. There’s a slight saltiness that keeps it from feeling too heavy. To me, this smells like warm skin in the sun that’s been slathered in the best-smelling tanning oil. It’s very beachy, very summery, and just overall really comforting and mood-lifting. It honestly makes you crave sunshine. Compared to the body mist, this is definitely richer and more concentrated. The mist is lighter and more airy, while this feels more “perfume-like” and put together. If you’ve tried the mist and wished it lasted longer, this is what you’re looking for. On my skin, I get a few good hours out of it before it fades into more of a soft skin scent. It’s not overpowering, but it’s noticeable, and I get a lot more wear time out of this than the mist. Speaking from experience, this layers really well with all the other Cheirosa 62 products. I like to use it with the Bum Bum Cream and the body mist to make the scent last even longer and feel a little more intense. Overall, this is an easy, crowd-pleasing scent. I got this after I ran out of my body spray. I have a big tub of their body lotion. It smells just like the body spray. I was scared that it would smell like alcohol, but it doesn’t! At first the smell is very intense but it gets smooth. It lasts long and I get a lot of compliments. The packaging feels high quality.
