I think these reading glasses are beautiful with the flower motif on the edge of the glasses and arms. I saw reviews where some say they can not see the flowers, but I see them clearly even without my glasses They are very solid and do not feel as if they will fall apart like "Dollar Store" readers do. They are a "little" expensive but very worth it. The case they came in is beautiful too, and it included a cleaning cloth. They fit on my crooked nose comfortably. They have a nice taper, not too much to distort the lens, like others. Lightweight and don't leave red marks on your nose.

I love the SV reading glasses — this is my 3rd pair and now I have enough that I am not constantly, suddenly searching for a pair. My only thing with this pair is that I accidentally ordered 1.5. The lenses were too strong, but the frames were beautiful and exactly as shown in picture. I exchanged for 1.25 and the frames are not nearly as lovely because the pattern and colors are so weak on the front that they hardly show, so just beware that the production is inconsistent.😥 Sooo much prettier when some of the blue shows. When I hit 49, my close up vision rapidly deteriorated, and I started needing glasses for all-day computer use. I’ve gone through about 12 pairs of glasses in the last year - some lost, some broken, some junk and given away. These are among the best. They are comfortable with a solid spring hinge, made of tough durable plastic, and the lenses are still clear through daily constant polishing (a habit while I’m talking), and being taken off and put on multiple times per hour, as well as being set down and picked up, getting fingerprints on the lenses and then repeatedly being wiped off. They are also surviving being constantly shoved into my bag without the case. They are, so far, the glasses I keep reaching for over and above any of the other pairs I have floating around. ... show more

Not as advertised, no case to protect them, cheap plastic case with hang tag from store that would break probably first time you carried it. One pair out of two was already broken in transit. The glasses appear to be cheaply made- I could hear the hinge make a plastic noise when you opened them up. Returning two pair and looking for another brand. I received these lovely glasses yesterday. I'm very disappointed that I might have to return them. They are beautiful. They fit perfectly. I can see clearly to read with them (2+ strength). However, there seems to be something wrong with the hinges that attach the arms so that the arms rotate a little. (I'm 73, and have been wearing prescription glasses since the 4th grade; I've never had glasses with hinges that do this strange jiggly thing.) I have a kit with those teeny-tiny screwdrivers for glasses, so I tried tightening the screw (which moved hardly at all), but the jiggle was still there. Wondering if anyone else had noticed this in the glasses, I just re-read all of the reviews to see. One other buyer seems to describe this exact problem. Several others reported the arms breaking. So I'm thinking the jiggling might very well weaken the arms eventually to the breaking point. I don't want to wait until mine break to send them back. I really love them, so I may request a replacement. There are dozens of positive reviews -- so ---- maybe mine are a fluke. (?) If I hadn't noticed this problem, I would have given five stars. ... show more
