There isn’t much padding for the bottom of your feet, so if you walk or stand for a long time, you might need to get insoles. I purchased thin memory foam insoles and they work perfectly. That being said, these shoes are amazing. I wear them almost daily and receive so many compliments. They are my favorite boots I own, and I own Dr. Martens. I’ve had them for several months now and after weekly wear, the sole on the right shoe developed a crack, which I fixed with superglue. They aren’t absolutely perfect, but they’re great for the price.

The style of this boot is adorable and, on the surface, appears comparable to higher-end boots. However, the quality sucks (And I hate to say that because I really wanted these to last!) I'm a walker and I live in Seattle, so some areas can be quite hilly. After only three uses, almost the entire sole of the boot came off. This happened while I was walking around a grocery store at a normal pace! I don't beat my shoes up, but I do expect them to handle more than three uses at the very least. When I took a look under the sole, it looked like the glue had been sparsely pasted, resulting in the chunky heel becoming easily unstuck. While the boot itself is super cute, it's not practical. I also want to note that it was not rainy on the days when I used these, so I can't attribute the damage to water. You'll also see that after three uses, the heel was already scuffed and the faux leather was beginning to crease in some spots. It's unfortunate because they're adorable.

These boots are super cute really affordable compared to similar boots in this style. I will say you have to break them in before you wear them for long periods of time. The first time I wore them I made the mistake of wearing them for an 8 hour shift and my feet where bleeding and covered in blisters but after a few times wearing them there much more comfortable.

My daughter wore these as part of a Star Wars costume for Halloween and she looked fabulous. They look cute with her school outfits as well. But she said they aren’t comfortable- for the price, they shouldn’t be uncomfortable.
