So, I intentionally waited to review these shoes, because everything is rosy when it's new. I was surprisingly pleased with the shoes. I'm an older person, so I just use these to walk around the pool and with which to frolic in the water. As other reviews stated, these do run large, but I considered that when ordering. These are far more substantial than the shoes I was replacing. They provide good stability for the activity I do. Others have claimed they are cheaply made and one review complained they were slippery when wet and couldn't do cliff jumping. Let me just say if you're jumping off cliffs you may want to consider a more substantial shoe, just sayin'. I've had no issues with the lace gizmo, as others have claimed. Bottom line: 5 stars

Great quality water shoe. I wore them to the beach and a water park. They are comfortable, have good traction, and are incredibly light. The only negative is they don't fit tight so they have a tendency to rub the heal causing blisters. There is a strap to tighten over the top of the foot, but it doesn't wrap around the ankle so it's only adjustable to a point. No matter how hard I tightened them they still slid up and down my heal. Maybe a size smaller would fix this. Outside of that I couldn't be happier with them.

Love the color options available. They are unique in style. Thought itd be tight when i first put them on, they were not tight at all! Slipped on very easily. No arch support but that doesn't matter to me. Definitely a good swim shoe!

I purchased these shoes for vacation because we were visiting a large water park. The shoes started off very comfortable, but after moving around a couple of hours my pinky toes became sore from the rubbing. I ended up taking them off. If the rubbery portion near the pinky toes could be adjusted/moved, these would be 5-star. Why did you pick this product vs others?: They have a thick sole/tread. These are fairly comfortable water shoes but for hiking, not so much. If you have ever had a problem with plantar fasciitis, you should avoid these shoes. I ordered these because one of my most frequent hikes takes me across a small stream and it’s challenging to keep my shoes and socks dry. Thought these would be perfect since they are very anti-slip but I never made it to the water. I walk at least 6 miles per day but yesterday just before mile 2 I began to feel stress in the plantar fascia in my left foot. Wisely, I turned for home. En route, my right foot began to cramp and stress as well. I had about a mile and a half to go, so I had to walk very gingerly to do no further damage to my feet. So, these shoes will only be useful for me for short non-stressful walks. I do plan to get heavy duty insoles to see if I can add enough support but I doubt that I will be making as much use of these as I intended and I fear that will reduce the “waterproof” aspect of the footwear. So, beware, if you have experienced foot pain in the past (or anticipate it in the future), you might want to pass on these shoes.
