I walk my dog twice a day and have developed arthritis in mleft hip. I've always used a carved wooden hiking stick. I used a friend's sticks and had to get my own. Love them, pretty and comfortable. Added 7/8/23: The flaps that hold the tightening screws open very easily, causing the poles to collapse. As another review stated, the screws to tighten the connection are very difficult to get tight enough and they loosen quickly. I'll be looking for another set soon. I think these could be unsafe. ... show more
