for smaller kids handle could be little longer

  • Nice snow scooter
Lens Color: Green
It’s a fun snow scooter but a lot harder than expected. There’s no traction at all on the bottom so it’s really hard to steer a straight line. It is a nice size for my 6 year old and I even enjoyed it as an adult. It feels flexible but it took many crashes in the snow and he held up well. I do think it’s a bit pricey for what it is. I have seen many others for cheaper ... show more

  • Meh, kind of a bust
Lens Color: Green
I’m a bit mixed on this sled. I’ve included photos showing it with two kids (ages 3 and 8) so you can get a better sense of the size and how it fits different ages. The concept seemed fun, but in reality it wasn’t a big hit with my kids. They tried standing on it and holding the handle, but it honestly didn’t seem very enjoyable for them. It feels a little awkward to balance on and doesn’t give that smooth, fun sledding feel you might expect. My bigger concern is that it actually seemed a bit dangerous. Because you’re standing up while holding the handle, it feels like a child could easily lose their balance or get thrown forward if the sled stops suddenly or hits uneven snow. I personally felt uneasy watching them try to use it. It may work better for older kids with really good balance, but for typical young kids it just didn’t seem very fun or very safe. If the were old enough to survive it, this would probably be too small for them. The photos should help give a realistic sense of the size and how children actually stand on it. ... show more

  • Solid construction, minor locking concern
Lens Color: Green
I've been waiting weeks to try this out, but we haven't had any snow this winter yet. Based on handling it, the construction seems very solid and well-built. My one complaint is that I think the handlebar should lock into place better than it does - it feels slightly loose. The foot grips look like they'll work great for maintaining your footing while riding. The folding mechanism is convenient for storage. The materials feel durable and like they'll hold up well to winter use. Looking forward to actually testing it once we get some snow, but first impressions are mostly positive aside from the locking mechanism concern. ... show more

  • Solid!
Lens Color: Green
This snowboard is great for the sledding hill and serves as a nice introduction for kids who might be interested in actual snowboarding someday. It feels like a fun middle ground between a standard sled and a real snowboard, giving kids a chance to experiment with balance, stance, and direction without committing to full gear. The handle is robust and provides a reassuring level of security, especially for younger riders or beginners. It gives them something solid to hold onto while heading downhill and definitely helps with balance and confidence as they get used to standing and riding instead of sitting. The board itself feels solid while still offering enough flexibility to be useful when trying to turn. While there is not a great deal of carving possible due to the lack of bindings, the board is clearly shaped with turning in mind and responds reasonably well to shifting weight and body position. It feels durable enough to handle repeated use and the inevitable bumps and tumbles that come with kids learning. There are grip areas built into the board to help keep boots from slipping off, and they are sufficiently pokey to do the job. This added traction makes a noticeable difference. I am also glad the handle is brightly colored, as it makes the board much easier to spot in deeper snow or at the bottom of the hill after a run. Overall this has been a fun addition to our winter gear and has held up well so far. Finally, this is my 12 year old standing on the snowboard who is just about maxing it out. This is clearly sized for kids, and not grown teens/adults. I will attempt to get some additional pictures next time it snows. ... show more

  • Fun idea for snowy days with an easy learning curve
Lens Color: Green
This snow scooter is a really fun mix between a sled, snowboard, and kick scooter, which makes it especially appealing for kids and even adults who want something a little different from a regular sled. The handlebar gives extra balance and control, so it feels easier to learn on than a traditional snowboard, especially for beginners or younger riders. It is a nice option for backyard hills, neighborhood snow days, or casual winter play. The fold-up design is convenient for carrying and storing, and it does not take up as much space as bulkier sleds. It feels lightweight enough to move around easily, which is great when kids are dragging it back up the hill over and over. The overall concept is playful and makes snow time feel more active and exciting. That said, this is best for lighter recreational use rather than aggressive downhill riding. Performance will depend a lot on the snow conditions and the slope, and it works better on packed snow than on rough or icy surfaces. Adult use is possible, but the experience may feel better suited to kids and smaller riders, depending on the build and weight limit. Bottom line: a fun, beginner-friendly snow toy that combines balance, movement, and sledding into one, with a foldable design that makes it easy to carry and store. ... show more

  • It's a scooter, it's a sled, it's a snowboard! Oh my!
Lens Color: Green
The media could not be loaded. This just arrived and my boys are so anxious to give it a go. While we typically have snow at this time of the year, we're experiencing a warm spell in the high 50s! While much of the country is blanketed in snow, we have green grass. So, we're hoping hard for some snow in the weeks to come. For now we're having fun pretending. This is such a fun item. It's like a trainer for snowboards. It's hard plastic, but similar to some sleds. The green color is nice and visible. I'm still going to make them wear their snowboarding helmets because they are higher up than when riding sleds. It has a nice handle to get a good grip but the side to side action is a question I have. Can't wait to try it soon! ... show more
