  • Go smaller on size
Go smaller in size, I’m an 8 but I got a 7 fit great!

  • Read the full description and size down!
First the good. These are well made, sturdy, and very comfortable. I like the red, turquoise, and white stitching throughout the boot. The "black" is more of a dark charcoal gray. The shaft is almost the same shade of gray as the rest of the boot, not a stark difference like the advertisement picture. Now the bad. Definitely size down. My normal size is an 8.5. I ordered a 7.5 and could have ordered a 7. 7.5 is still too loose but will work with thick socks. Now, buyer, also read the description. This was my fault for not reading the entire description. The description says square toe, but the advertisement picture is a round toe. The ad picture has a tan heel, but the actual boot has a black heel. Basically the picture does not exactly match the boot. But I like the boots I ended up with, so I am keeping them. ... show more

  • cute! but run large
I bought these in an 8 (b/c I read they run large) and the wrong size was sent (an 8.5, which is actually my size), so I could see that these do really run a whole size large! These fitting more like a size 9.5, and my feet swimming in them. So order down. But these are cute boots, well made, with that added bonus of rubber soles and heels to keep from slipping. Love cowboy boots, but hate how slippery they are. These have traction and are not slippery. The shaft is real leather materials but more like a leather fabric, very soft, a nice 12 " tall, I love the faded purplish gray color of the shaft, but not nuts about how the toe and foot region of the boot is brown. If I wold have kept them I would have had the foot part dyed to match the shaft more, loved the distressed color of the boot shaft on these. ... show more
