Smith come on guys let’s still have pride in our products , what happened? Super disappointed.
Very cheaply made product. Smith has always been known as a go to name for us mountain / ski area workforce. you can see where they press the lens in and it’s so cheap that the plastic is marked or scarred. I don’t know what happened I thought because I spent more money like a fool go for the name that you trust. .. like everybody else my eyes are very important to me and I think or at least hope , you really should pass this on to Smith or whoever bought the name Smith .., it’s very clear that I ended up with a made in Taiwan Smith product. Or the equivalent , and I really don’t like saying that . Needless to say, I don’t think I would recommend buying Smith product .. I know I’m nobody but I work at the ticket office at a ski area. I interact with approximately 3000 people a day. One of the things talked about what kind of gear do I need? And I try to help the guest out as much as I can. Maybe Smith can see that I should be wearing my glasses and be proud of them .like I thought I spent 150 bucks for .. maybe Smith can fix this with some new glacier glasses that are what I’ve always known as excellent quality standards that Smith is known for. I’m telling you these aren’t it , the plastics are cheap even with the frame and the lens plastic is cheap not very clear the optics are just not even good. This is where Smith shines. It should be excellent clear defined …. and they just pressed it in the machine and somebody wasn’t paying attention or didn’t… Maybe some kind of polarized glasses or at least send me a T-shirt 2xL It’s funny my goggles are Smith. They’re old school awesome. Trying to still be on your team ! Rob Kidd Loveland ski area . If you go to Loveland‘s website , you will see me as behind the goggles episode # 11 this will show you that I’m legit ….. so Amazon it’s up to you get my message to Smith , drop it in their lap hard :) 😎 SEND IT !!! 🏂. A little bit about me, I’m 56 years young, i’ve been skiing since I was 11, before that I wouldn’t call it really Skiing .. started snowboarding in the 80s when they first came out with the whole idea , So needless to say, I bought a few things here and there and I have always tried to make it a good turnout even a bad situation . If you don’t ask, you don’t get ! ! my brother throughout the years I’ve been pretty hooked up. Maybe just a lot of T-shirts 😂 It’s always been a part of the ski industry .. to throw a bone . The “SMITH” decal on both sides have had a couple letters fall off, bad glue maybe, SMH. Otherwise the frame, detachable side glare pieces and Lenses are great.
