I rarely write product reviews, but I felt compelled to document how well these GSM Car Drying Towel performed—because this is one of those purchases that genuinely surprised me. For context, I’ve been cleaning my own cars for over 45 years, and I’m particular about what touches my paint. I also just bought a new vehicle with only about 1,000 miles on it, so it was ready for its first wash—and I wanted the drying step to be flawless. I honestly forgot I even had these towels, but I pulled them out when I started prepping the car. I’m glad I did. The performance was nothing short of impressive: streak-free and spot-free drying with a single pass. I kept expecting I’d need a second or third wipe like I always do, especially on flatter panels and around trim, but it just… didn’t happen. One wipe and the surface looked finished. No streaking, no hazy lines, and no leftover water trails. It was almost bizarre—in the best way—because it looked as if the car was never wet in the first place. Equally important, these towels feel paint-safe and scratch-free. The material is plush and clearly designed to glide rather than drag. And they’re super absorbent and ultra-effective—they don’t just push water around; they actually pick it up, leaving the panel clean and dry. The size is perfect—comfortably oversized so it covers a lot of surface area quickly, but not to the point of becoming awkward or unmanageable. As you’d expect with a towel this absorbent, it will start to feel heavier after about half the car is loaded with water, yet it still remains easy to control and wring out if needed. For a standard car, one towel can do a beautiful job, but if you’re drying an SUV or larger vehicle, you’ll very likely want two towels to keep the process fast and truly streak-free from start to finish. Bottom line: this is the best drying product I’ve used, and it does exactly what it claims. I’m buying more for the other vehicles so they go where I go. If you care about your paint and want a satisfying, fast, professional-looking dry, these are the real deal.

I asked for some Microfiber drying towels for Xmas and one of the kids got me a set of these. Loved them from first use, the pair is enough to dry the car and having two mid-size ones instead of one large one makes them easy to handle once they start sucking water off the car, which they do really well. They're very thick and seem to be very well made. I've tried tossing them in the dryer to dry but prefer hanging them on the deck in the sun weather permitting. I've not washed them yet but assume there won't be a problem. This is actually my second set, I wanted the first for my convertible since it's always hand washed. I got this set for the SUV since I try to always run it through a touchless wash and wanted a set to keep in the car for a final dry. So overall I recommend these towels, they do the job properly and the price is pretty reasonable.

These towels are amazing! I knew they were a pair of excellent quality towels the moment I took them out of their box. They are so nice and soft but also feel very sturdy and well made. It’s hard to find much of anything that you can truly say that about. I am vertically challenged so I have a hard time drying the roof of my car. With these towels I don’t have that problem. I simply toss the towel on the roof and drag it across. No need to wipe more than that. The car is totally dry with very little effort. Once the towel begins to get saturated I switch to the second towel to finish. The towels absorb and hold on to an amazing amount of water so the more water you wipe from the car the heavier the towel becomes. When I’m finished drying the car I toss them in the washer with Arm & Hammer washing soda to avoid leaving any residue on the towels that could cause streaks. If you have a vehicle that you lovingly hand wash and detail, I highly recommend that you order a pair of these towels. You definitely will not regret this purchase except maybe the regret you feel when you think of how much easier car care would have been if you had discovered these gems earlier. I have been so impressed with them that I am going to order a set for my husband’s truck. I’m afraid if I don’t he will end up taking mine and I will have a hard time getting them back!

Towels worked great, doesn't dry as well as demonstrate first towel was soaked about half way through drying my truck so grabbed the second one and finished it, with using both towels my truck was dry and streak free way better then the shammy I was using. Material feels quality but time will tell.

I really like this duo towel set for the price. It is a very thick towel (as shown in 1st pic), which I can appreciate, does not seem to be fragile, or have a tendency to fray at all. It is like really thick and big towel material, big loops to hold a lot of water (as shown in 2nd picture). Easy to wring out (it's very absorbent). I have not washed it yet, but it feels like really good quality, I'm not worried about washing. It is not microfiber (I dislike microfiber because after a certain point it leaves lint, this doesn't seem to from what I have noticed). Although it is not microfiber, thus not the "softest" material, as long as you are cleaning your vehicle well, it shouldn't be an issue, when you dry it off, you don't want dirt left over, or any towel you use will scratch your car, after multiple washes the towel will likely get softer as well. These towels are a good size, and appear sturdy with bigger loops (for collecting water). I love the two pack.
