Cute, not super quality but what I expected. Half of the loops for the ribbon, at the waist, we're already pulled out and the remainder tore out when trying to tighten the lacing. We found a wide stretchy belt at a thrift store that worked with it. We also added a real red cape with a hood. This one is too small for effect. Got lots of compliments and I really like that it wasn't inappropriate for my 13 year old. Why are all the costumes for women made to look like a hooker?!! ... show more

I purchased this costume for my 9 year old daughter. She is 5' so needs an adult size but finding a costume in the size needed that wasn't too 'adult' themed was difficult. When I stumbled upon this I clicked add to cart immediately. I did have to take up the neckline a bit because it was a little low cut but I expected that in the size we needed. The picture shows a full below the knee skirt. And it so very much is not! Even if I went up a size it still would be above my knees,(I'm 5.3)! I will I think put a black petticoat under it to liven it up and add length!

The quality is great & what we loved most is that it was very appropriate for a preteen!! Many other costumes being sold are too revealing & not appropriate for young adolescents. This one was!
