Tried on my costume today, and I'm excited to wear it for pirate night on a Disney cruise next month. Quality is good. I especially like the texture of the gold cord detail, and the contrast between the black and brown in the dress skirt. Light-weight fabrics will be good on cruise or walking around amusement parks. True to size. Pants are sufficiently stretchy for me. I could use tighter elastic on top. I'm a US 14 on top and 16 on bottom. A little short on my 5' 7" frame. Pants come to mid calf but I'll wear boots to cover that. Not enough bodice dress length for vest to lay as in the model, so I'll pin the blouse and wear a camisole to cover midriff. I probably won't rely on the yellow ribbon tie in the back. I may remove mine. I was pleasantly surprised to see dress has white sleeves and blouse above vest. Note that in the photo model's hair and the baldric cover the front bodice. (I had ordered a separate blouse which I will return as it will not work with the vest/skirt). This outfit really looked great for the event. A treasure hunt on the lake. Many compliments on the outfit. The fit was a little snug at the waist in the dress. Very poor attention to detail. The stitching was all out of whack on the front, causing one side of the white cloth at the top to be bigger than the other, creating an appearance of lopsided bosoms. Even the buttons on one side weren’t lined up with the other. What do you expect for $30 or so? If it had been properly done, it would be worth 5 stars. It’s not the best quality over all but it’s comparable with other Halloween costumes. Plus it matched great with my sons costume. ... show more

For as much as this costume costs, it sure is poor quality. The pants were splitting at the seam, the front part of the dress wasn’t even long enough to cover my stomach, and the chest area was very loose. Not only that, I’m quite positive that I got a costume that someone wore, returned, and was resold to me. There were two holes in it and had the buttons were just hanging on by a thread. My husband was Captain Leroy Jack Sparrow and I was Pirate Anamaria Elizabeth Swan on one of our costume nights on our recent cruise. I received many compliments on this costume and so did my husband on his. The only issue I had was with the pants, although they fit, the quality is not so great. I had to continuously pull them up each time I got up out of my seat. On another review I saw that another young lady had an issue with the pants and changed hers to ones she purchased separately. This is a Very Nice Costume. I'm going to be Honest. I'm 5"3 180lbs size 42D Bust. I got an X Large and was worried it wouldn't fit, but I was surprised at how Comfortable this is. Not tight and Not to loose. Great Quality and Well Made. Fabric is nice. Legging are very comfortable and Well made Too. Sexy but Classy. Love this piece. Some parts of the costume did feel a bit cheap. I added a lot of accessories to the outfit to make it look whole. I would not be as much of a fan if I didn’t get the other items to complete the look.
