This is my favorite brand of expanding file. It does not tear at the edges and I can put in many documents/receipts. I use one file a year to help me keep track of my personal expenses for tax purposes. It is very useful and helps keep all of my expenses neatly organized and saves me a lot of time. Well worth the money. Sure, there are less expensive brands, however, they split at the edges and soon fall apart. ... show more

I bought this to organize important documents that I often have lying around in random piles... if that sounds like you, buy this. I cleared up a ton of space in my apartment using it, and my documents are far more organized now. The exterior seems sturdy enough for my purposes, and while the interior flaps aren't made of incredibly thick plastic, they seem like they will hold up quite well. The file is expandable enough to fit larger items like checkbooks, random rewards cards, and passports without bulging or stretching. The green is also a really nice color! ... show more

We have a small business and use this to hold our receipts in case of a dreaded audit. Very convenient for that purpose, it has slots for all 12 months and one to hold proof of recurring donations. 1.5 Month Edit: I'm coming back to change my review for this product. Aside from the color issue I mentioned initially, I have largely left this item sitting at the edge of my desk, and haven't used it much. Just now I went to open it, and the back panel and the inner envelope suddenly separated near the top with an audible snap. It's only separated at the top, but when I examined it closer, a couple more of the connections broke, causing it to separate even more. I'm going to try and reconnect it via tape or glue, but I'm very disappointed that it's already coming apart. Original Review: Overall it's what I was expecting: A standard expanding folder with multiple pockets. (Technically 13 pockets, if you include the one in front of the first tab.) Nothing stands out to me as anything to be concerned about. The only real disappointment to me is the color. One of the things that attracted me to this particular item was that it looked like a lovely teal color. When I received the product, it was actually a really deep emerald green color, not teal at all. It's not enough of a problem for me to bother returning it.
