Got these for my son when he was about 13 months, he is now 16 months and while he likes to play with these (so does my 3 year old) I worry about the center cylinder part that connects the animals together. He likes to stick it in his mouth, and I worry that he could choke on it if he fell down with it in his mouth. It is a couple inches long, but width is not that large that he is able to put it in his mouth and play with it. Not sure he would actually choke on it but always around when they are playing with them as I worry.

My son (18 months) found this brand of toy at a local toy store and liked playing with their toys but I was undecided. Later, I showed him some of the sets on my phone and he seemed interested in the animal set, so we bought it and I'm so glad we did! I wasn't sure if such a simple toy would be a big hit, but he loves clicking and unclicking the animal heads and tails on to the magnetic bar piece. We had them at church in the nursery and all the little kids loved them! We've had them for over a week now and he still plays at them at least once every day! They are easy to clean and the animal heads are soft. He's also been experimenting with using the magnet parts to pick up things like spoons and his train cars. So I would say this toy is a hit!
