I liked that if I made a small mistake I could reposition it slightly. Also, you should mention using a hair dryer to smooth the wrinkles out and to really activate the adhesive. I covered the top of my desk. Can pass for leather. There was almost no adhesion. I had to use another method to adhere. I ended up coating in Polycrylic to help everything stay down and prevent damage.

I recently refurbished a dresser. The previous owner did not take great care of the inside of the drawers, so they were very dirty after an hour of cleaning them. To add a “cleaner” barrier, I lined the drawers with this patterned adhesive. It looks great! Was so easy to use and was able to line all 6 drawers with some left over. I was fearful that if I messed up, I would not be able to remove it to reposition; but that was not the case. If you need to adjust it, you can easily remove it and start over. I’m satisfied with this product for what I was using it for. Before and after photos here of my plain shelves and then after coating them with this. It does not apply easily to large shelves. Smaller shelves may be easier. There were a lot of bubbles and I did try to be careful. At the end of the day it is for the bathroom closet so not a big deal. For the money it was good. ... show more

I bought many rolls of these because I loved the design. I had a handyman install them in all the drawers since I didn't have the capacity to do so. He commented that the product stuck well but was very thin and tore easily. I inspected it myself and it did feel much thinner than the name brand adhesive liners.
