I've been on Keto for so long that when I came across these buns I was extremely skeptical. On the great KETO lifestyle, whenever I see a 'low carb' or 'zero carb' item I always say to myself "ok what's the catch?" Usually when an item is low/zero carb it either taste horrible, isn't filling, or is using so many chemicals that it might as well not be considered food anymore. So I ordered these buns seeing that the ingredients we're straight forward so there might be hope for them. Tried them and am very pleased to say they taste just like a normal bun (which is exactly what you want) and are still zero carbs to not effect your KETO. I ate them everyday on KETO and I always teste my urine with KETONE strips to see if food is effecting my state of ketosis, and am excited to say these are the real deal as to not pull you out of keto. I didn't have any digestive issues at all so glad that wasn''t an issue. I might have took a star off due to the 38$ price tags for 24 buns, but thinking about it logically, if you go to a normal place to get a burger or even a place like Arby's for a sandwich your paying 3-5$ for a burger/sandwich. These are essentially $1.55 if they sold them individually, so if you take for example a roast beef with chedder on bun at Arby's for 5-7$, broken down its like 3-4$ for the meat, 50cent to 1$ for the cheese and 1$ for the bun. With that in mind these are actually fairly priced. I will be ordering another batch of these again as you will not find a better KETO bun on the market and especially not at the store in present day.

Happy to add this product to our Keto lifestyle, it's a nice change from having to make chaffles as a hamburger bun replacement. Must be kept in the freezer upon receiving but thaw just fine when needed, not mushy. The four-star review is given because the texture is a little crumbly but still holds up pretty well. We toast the bun before adding condiments and the burger. Another reason for the 4-star review is that the buns are pre-sliced but not all sliced equally, some bun tops are too thin and those tend to fall apart more frequently during eating. Another reason for the 4-star is that the price point is high. Although, I would give a big 5-star review for customer service had it been included above. We had a shipping issue that was handled promptly and without any hassle. Great customer service!

Excellent flavor, like full carb wheat bread. Not eggy nor cheesey. Texture is light and fluffy, not at all heavy. One star removed because they are just a tiny bit drier than full carb bread, have a slightly “off” smell when toasted in the toaster, and are a little pricey. A saucier sandwich filling makes up for its dryness. Tuna salad with homemade “healthy fat” mayo was fantastic. When we get burgers “protein style,” we bring these along and slap the lettuce wrap inside and get a more satisfying experience. You get plenty of buns per order, but the cost per bun is obviously higher than traditional bread. We still make our homemade fathead keto buns for a fraction of the cost, but the convenience of having these in the freezer and the option of a non-cheese, non-egg based bread are reason enough to keep ordering.

Wow! I ordered these smart buns because I am on the Keto diet and after trying so many diets over the years that didn’t work for me, Keto has been amazing. I have lost fifty pounds in four months. So in order to stay on track, tired of not being able to have bread, I ordered these. I made a delicious burger, toasted the bun and added a bit of butter, then put a bit of mayo on bun. It was delicious! The smart bun didn’t crumble or fall apart, it was very sturdy. The burger was delicious and filling. I am happy with this product. I think toasting the bun and adding a bit of butter is delicious, I have not tried the bun straight out of the pack yet. It doesn’t taste like regular bread, but it is not a bad different, just different, and filling, satisfying and delicious. I put the rest in the freezer and will take some out as I use them. It says on the box they’re delivered in to put in freezer when delivered. I give this Keto friendly bun a thumbs up, I think they got this one right, some Keto products can really taste awful, these buns, in my opinion, are a winner! Thumbs up! Can’t wait to make a nice Keto breakfast sandwich with them :)

The last time I ordered, I received less than half my order. It was near impossible to contact the company. My credit card company thankfully stepped in. On the actual product, however, I usually love them. These arrived in a smashed box. The buns were smushed and rubbery. I have purchased on Amazon, but they were out of stock, so I tried the online store. The first time was great. I cannot purchase from a company that does not respond when there is a problem.

These are great! They make Keto so much easier. I use them for all kind of lunchmeat sandwiches, burgers, Cheesesteaks, Meatballs, Sausage, breakfast sandwiches, club sandwiches ect.... Best part is that they didn't slow my weight loss down at all (over 33 pounds so far). How do they taste? They don't have to much flavor (which is a good thing), rather they take the place of bread and allow the meats you eat it with to shine. The one negative I would say is that the bread is a little bit dry, so I use condiments like Mayo for club sandwiches to get past that. I did not think I was going to make it on Keto until I got these rolls. I tried making breaks and never liked them, plus it is just to much work. These will remain a key component in my diet. I now feel like I didn't give up bread. If only I could find a substitute for French fries which I miss badly. If you are doing Keto these are a must have and worth the price. Update as of 10/15/18 - I am not down 55 pounds and I still enjoy these buns and they have made this diet much easier for me. The key with the buns is you need to use a good condiment.

As someone who has drastically cut sugar from my diet for some time now, I was looking for a good hamburger bun substitute as eating burgers between two lettuce leaves gets old very quickly. I had heard about Smart-Buns and was eager to try the zero-net carb alternative. Like many other no or low carb offerings, I didn’t expect it to be spot on, none of them ever are, but coming close is always the hope. The texture is more spongy than most and not bad tasting, albeit a little gritty due to all the fiber, but what surprised me the most was the buns sweetness. They could cut 25% of the Erythritol and it would still be plenty sweet, for me.

Zero carb buns. Individually packaged and pre cut. Box says to freeze after delivery. I did not expect it to taste like a white bun. It does NOT taste like a regular white bun. But it is Closer to a regular white bun than anything I have bought or made in 20 years of low carb. Which surprised me. I liked the zero carb bun for my bbq sandwich. I toasted it and wrapped it up and took it to the restaurant. Yummy. Plus I could sit and eat with everyone else and it didn't look like I had special food. That being said people, these are low carb. Low carb isn't white bread. People can pick these apart with comments as with all low carb food, zero carb food and gluten free food. I will keep buying these as a fantastic alternative bun for dinning out or fast food.
