I wanted something a bit warmer for winter. We use quilts and they don't keep us warm enougg in the winter. So, I bought this comforter after reading all the reviews. It has exceeded my expectations. It's warm, sometimes too warm that I sweat. But still feels light and comfy. It was a great buy and the pattern is cute too. We have little dogs that sleep with us and it's held up to them too. Disclaimer: I received this item for free from the Vine program. I didn't get paid for the review and, in fact, I Pay 45% in Federal and State Income Taxes for each item. The Classic Peony Floral Queen Sheet Set is made with 100% Polyester Microfiber. Polyester Microfiber provides for a lightweight and softer material than bed linen made from percale, is durable, less apt to pilling, less prone to wrinkling and shrinkage, and normally costs less. The beautiful Comforter is made from polyester with a polyester filling. The comforter and pillow shams arrived in a shrink package and will expand once the items are removed from the package. Like the sheets, I will wash the comforter and shams prior to usage. I'm disappointed that the comforter is not touching the floor, as shown in the first picture. I looked at the pictures instead of reading everything. I do hope I can get 3 years of wear from this set with washing the sheets weekly and the comforter monthly. ... show more
