This thing throws the new nerf hyper rounds far!!! They're very soft and do not hurt. Had to file the catch on the door a tad, the casting process left a bit of a lip on the catch at the top of the door where the trigger lock engages. The springs are very strong, it takes a bit of practice to load larger ammo. The hyper rounds can be loaded with the door closed in a small amount, and airsoft or water rounds you can pour in. It will fling 15 hyper rounds 30 ft easily in about a 10 ft spread. Hopefully everything holds up, the legs are metal and the body and mechanisms are plastic. Better than I expected. Almost too good. By that I mean it shoots out the projectile pretty fast or hard. Which in my opinion is freaking awesome. The only bad thing is the legs are kinda crappy for hard floors. They could be more stable or more adjustable. But, it's a remote claymore and I've been yelled at every time I use it. Perfect! My house hold hates it yet it brings me everending joy!!!! I use rival balls and nerd darts as ammo and it blasts the heck out of people. Love it! I've only used it with the remote. Not the trip wire. Tried the trip wire and it pulled the claymore over before it fired. A little used error and a little due to the weak legs. Still 5 stars all day. ... show more

I purchased this for prank style fun. For that purpose it works great. To go with it, I picked up a 50rd pack of the NERF Hyperballs. They are smaller than the Rival series balls. They are about the size of a marble. They can be loaded through the front door while the unit is closed as well. Doing it that way, I was able to fit 8 balls total without issue. I was able to fit 10 if I loaded them with the unit open and pushed it shut. The remote works great. But as other reviews have said, once you use the remote to trigger the mechanism, you then need to turn both the remote and launch unit off. Wait a few seconds and then turn the launch unit on and then the remote. Wait for the light on the remote to stop flashing and then you are good to go again. ... show more

The Claymore Mine works well, when it works. Putting the batteries in charging them and installing projectiles is relatively straightforward but the trigger will work once and then simply stopped working. Turning the whole system off letting it sit for a while then turning it back on makes it work again, but even this isn't guaranteed. I kind of wish I could rely on it more, since I planned to use it at an upcoming Airsoft game, I guess we'll just see how it all works out. ... show more

I love this thing and I'm amazed with the quality. I jumped and my jaw dropped the first time I triggered it. I read some reviews that made me hesitant about the wireless remote, but it works great!!! (If you follow the correct sequence) 1. Turn off the remote AND the mine. 2. Turn on the mine and close it up. 3. Turn on the remote. Works every time. I might buy another one! ... show more
