I originally purchased this to carry around Italy as a better backpack, but I didn’t like it for that. Everyone told me “oh you have to have locks all over your bags in Italy because of pickpockets.” Ok, look, if you walk around with you purse or back pack unzipped and all your cash and belongings on display, then you deserve to be pickpocketed. I ended up just carrying a regular purse and it was fine. Anyways….flash forward several months and we are going skiing. I like to carry water, my phone, lip balm, protein bars, fruit and a sandwich with me on the slopes. THIS BAG was perfect for that purpose. I hate skiing with a backpack. This sling bag allowed me to swing in forward way easier than a backpack when I got on a lift and then swing it onto my back when I got off the lift to ski. I had everything I needed and more in the bag, and it’s not a huge bag. It’s got a large interior space that held all the big stuff, plus a security pocket against your back if you want to keep something close to you, and a “fron pocket” for the little things you grab more frequently. It is quite lightweight when empty as it is primarily nylon. And one little thing I really like is that the zippers go both ways. I didn’t use the external water compartments for my water as it would have frozen while skiing, but it turned out to be the perfect ski bag. ... show more

I absolutely love this bag. I use it as a day pack and it easily holds everything I need for a day away from home — kindle, snacks, water, makeup bag, phone, even a light jacket! I especially appreciate the hidden pocket in the back for my wallet. If Skysper is reading this , I hope you’ll consider making this sling bag in backpack format. Even though I love this bag, the sling sometimes fits oddly across my front and makes me look kind of goofy. I don’t know why, and maybe it’s me because the photos of it being worn by other women look fine — I just think if given a choice, I would prefer backpack style. Thanks for your consideration. I bought this for an amusement park trip. I am 6', 160lb with a small frame and the bag fits ok. If anything, it is a tiny bit too big. I had to adjust the strap all the way to get a snug fit. It is still very comfortable though. It was a sunny and humid day in the mid-80s and I never got to the point where I felt like I needed to take the bag off to cool down. In terms of storage, The main compartment is separated into three pockets and deceptively roomy. I had no problem filling them all of the usual things that you would take to an amusement park I only have one small gripe and that's the mesh/water bottle pockets. I have standard 24 and 36 oz water bottles and neither of them come close to fitting. All in all, I would definitely recommend this bag! ... show more

I took this bag on a 2.5 week trip to Paris and London. This bag was perfect for the trip. I kept the bag in front the entire time. The larger compartment was big enough to stuff a windbreaker into. The two side pockets are great for a bottle of water and a compact travel umbrella (when needed). The middle compartment was great to stuff my phone into (since walking around with my phone in my back pocket is not a good idea). Love the color. Even with all that I put in it, it felt light. Appears to be well made. It has enough storage space and it is waterproof. I like the wide straps and it’s also padded just enough for me. I also like the safety features, such as locking zippers. I was not looking for one that charged my cell phone and since I go Bluetooth I did not need the opening for the headset wires, which this also does not have. Like the bag and it came in good condition, but was obviously used because it had an old lanyard with 2 random peoples Sea World passes inside one of the pockets. Feel like the condition should not have said new and shouldn’t have been full price if it was used.
