Easy to roll up and store away (helpful if you live in a small space). I wanted something which created separation from our floors but allowed my little one a surface to do tummy time on, which wouldn’t slip and slide under his elbows like a quilt or play gym! The colors are really beautiful (the road is actually a deep metallic blue) and I can see this scene sparking a lot of imagination down the road, like using little cars to “visit” our family members’ and friends’ homes.

This mat is super cute! However, we have had this for less than 24 hours and the colors/picture on the mat seem to be flaking off. I’m disappointed that this is already happening when we have barely played on it. We have other brands of theses types of mats in our home that hold up a little better.

I looked at a lot of different mats and read a lot of reviews before realizing I was just going to have to take a chance on one. I’m so glad I did! This mat is great! The child side is vibrant and fun! It’s soft enough that I don’t worry about my baby’s head during tummy time. It wipes off easily which is great because my dogs apparently love it too. They will sit as close as they can get to us while still being on the mat. It kind of cracks me up. My husband doesn’t bother putting down a yoga mat for work outs any more. He just uses this one. I love that it’s easy on the knees and bottom when I’m down playing with my girl. The whole family loves the mat. It also stops our little baby swing from scooting around when it’s on the mat. Nothing I’ve set on the mat (including the feet of a solid wood coffee table) has left a mark. The foam bounces back as it should. I’m so glad I got this mat! Definitely worth the money. My negatives do not at all take away from my satisfaction because they are minor and unimportant, but I want to share for you consideration. 1. The adult side is okay, but not what I was picturing. There is a texture to the mat that I assume has something to do with the functionality/durability of the foam. I don’t mind this texture on the kid size, but I don’t like it on the adult side. For some reason, my brain reads the texture on the adult side as cheap because I want to compare it to my furniture and rugs. It’s definitely not cheap, but I think I will only ever use the kid size. That being said, having the option to flip it over when company is over or if that’s the look you want in a living area is great. It’s just my brain making unnecessary connections. 2. You can’t use it right away. It wanted to curl, so I had to have it curl down for a week before it flattened out. It also has a scent from being in a plastic bag for so long. This scent took about a week to fully dissipate without assistance as well. It isn’t a forever scent. This doesn’t bother me, but I know some people can get frustrated when something isn’t immediately as they had pictured.

I have had a different brand play mat (Baby Care Play Mat) in my kids playroom for 5 years. We still love it for the cushion (wrestling almost-6-year-olds now instead of wobbly babies) but I was looking for a more grown up pattern. I was thrilled to find this mat and excitedly ordered it with a one-month lead time for delivery. I was shocked at how lightweight this mat is. In total, it probably weighs 5 pounds less than the other mat due to the very light material used. The patterns are really cute and would have worked well for us for a more grown up option, but since I had a much different expectation of weight and quality, I returned this. For a longer-lasting option, I highly recommend one of the heavier mats. The other options often do not have any fabric on them at all (this one has fabric binding all along the edge). I prefer no fabric to make the mat super simple to clean.

We have vinyl plank floors and bought this to help soften the blow when our baby does fall. I read other reviews beforehand about durability and was worried about the amount of padding, but was very happy with what I received. It’s enough padding to protect them from major harm and doesn’t seem to puncture easily. I love the double sided design. Baby loves the designs of the road, birds and houses and is running her hand across them with curiousity. We will keep this around for years and utilize it for play time and she gets older. I would buy this product again.

We currently put our baby's toys on there for him to lay on now since he is only 3 months old, we bought this knowing he can grow into it once he starts crawling. Currently this is used as extra cushion since he loves to kick. This playmat is large enough for him to crawl and play around as well as have toys for him to play with. I also love that this mat is reversible and has the world map on it.
