We love this highchair. As stated in the title, we wanted the Lalo, but couldn't justify that price tag. Now, this certainly isn't the cheapest highchair on the market, but for the quality, the price is spot on. 1-It's very aesthetically pleasing. We have a MCM themed home, so this fits right in with our style. 2-Footprint/size of the high chair is not as big as some of the others we have seen online, which is a plus (in my book) 3- Super easy to wipe down 4- We feel that baby is very safe and secure in this high chair (*MOST IMPORTANT!*) 5- Has the footrest for baby for proper sitting development *ONLY CON* - The clips are a little bit hard to use. I had a different highchair but it had so many little books and cranies for food to get stuck in. I ditched it and went with this one. The tray is easier to clean and detach. The protective cover is dishwasher safe which is a godsend. My baby is on the petite side, so the footrest is a little low even on the highest setting. This is easily fixed by putting a towel or box to add more height to the footrest. I was a little wary about having to spend more on this chair, but it's totally worth not having the extra cleanup of the old one we had. I love this highchair. It is easy to wipe clean and the straps are removable. We have thrown them in the wash after particularly messy dinners (like spaghetti) and they come out so clean, this chair still looks brand new. I would highly recommend this over high chairs with padding that just gets gross and are hard to clean. ... show more

This is great if it stays in one place but if you move it around at all you’ll be tightening the screws once a week. It is a very simple high chair and easy to clean. Being able to turn it into a smaller seat is also a bonus.

Before you make this purchase think really hard if you really need the "4 in 1." While it looks great on paper, in practice, you'll probably be stuck on the high chair mode. I was really excited about this since I wanted to use the kid-size chair and the high chair together. Except, you can't. If you've lowered a crib, you'll probably understand what I mean. To convert this, you have to grab a screwdriver and take out the legs and then you have to screw it back on. This is an extremely time-consuming process that can take 15 minutes if not more. Chances are you'll want to do this once and forget about it. Converting a highchair to a booster is a 5-minute ordeal. You can disconnect the legs from the seat with some force without dismantling the entire thing, but then the legs will be awkwardly missing a base. You'll also have to locate the little leg pieces that you've probably stashed away somewhere when you converted it to a high chair. While the Ikea Antilop High Chair took 5 minutes to assemble, this took close to 20-30 minutes. Most of the parts look identical aside from some small engravings; I really wish they made it easier to see. You can remove your child from the seat without removing the table if they're under 1-year old. That said, removing the table is a painless process; hold onto a button and lift upward. Cleaning the table is painless as they put a detachable plastic cover over it. If your child has dirty hands and touches the base or grabs onto the sides it can be difficult to clean. Overall, this highchair is not worth the price if you are only using it as a highchair. The Ikea Antilop will meet all your needs. If you plan to use all the functionality and don't mind the time it'll take to convert from one to another, then this might be for you. ... show more

I wanted a chair that's easy to clean, let baby sit properly, and wasn't several hundred dollars. This one is acceptable, but not great. It's pretty easy to clean. The tray topper is nice and I usually only have to clean that and the side of the tray closest to baby. The straps are kind of annoying and not the easiest to keep clean, but still acceptable compared to other high chairs I've used. Sitting baby properly in a 90 90 90 position is challenging for a younger baby. The footrest is not adjustable so needs a box or something to make it higher. The biggest problem is that even at almost 8 months, my baby's legs can't bend past the edge of the seat. I put a towel behind their back to push them as far forward as possible, but the center post is big enough that their little legs just can't reach. This shouldn't be an issue for older babies, but it's unfortunate that my young baby can't sit properly. I haven't used any other variations than high chair yet, but it seems like it will make a decent toddler chair. ... show more
