I have a small foot and it’s hard to find size 5. These shoes slipped on and are so comfortable. The memory foam sole is great as I have plantar’s fasciitis. Fit great, color goes with anything and it’s like walking on a cloud.

I really like these sneakers. I normally wear a size 8 in skechers so i bought an 8. They felt smaller than other skechers. Quite snug. But i decided to try them out since they don't have laces that tighten and i have weak ankles. My fear was a size 8.5 would be too loose. I've been wearing these sneakers non-stop for the past week. After the first day i realize the smaller size didn't seem snug to me anymore by the end of the day...maybe they molded a little to my feet? I don't know. Another day I wore them really long and was standing in one spot for several hours. I started to feel a little pain in the front at the sides. Note that i have thin feet in the back but the toes are wide. This is why shoes are a little difficult for me to buy. Considering standing in one spot for a long time is not the norm, i like the size 8's because overall they feel comfortable. Would an 8.5 have been better for me? I don't know. That's the only reason i gave 4 stars. Otherwise i love them and the price was great. ... show more

    • The issues with this sneaker design

First of all, I love Sketchers. My favorite sneakers of all time, were this brand. But they aren't made anymore. These looked close in design, but fall short of perfect. I am 70 years old and I have worn a lot of shoes in my time! I know a good shoe when I try it on. These are the issues I discovered with this particular Sketcher sneaker; Traction is good. Fabric is good. So here comes the critique; This shoe does not have a supportive structure for an arch. So I purchased a good Dr. Scholls insert. Problem; The memory foam pad in the sneaker cannot be removed. When I put the supportive insert in the shoe it changed the fit and the shoe was so tight it was uncomfortable. Also, the tab on the back is useless for trying to pull on the shoe because I can't grip it and I can't get my finger into the loop (its to small!). I have small fingers! If you have a narrow foot these may not fit because they are roomy and the elastic laces cannot be adjusted. The tongue is sewn into the shoe area and you can't change the look of the shoe as it is in the photo with a high profile. I do like the colors and the shoe is very lightweight and easy to wear (you need a good shoehorn to make it easy to put on) as a basic shoe. I wish I could give it 5 stars but with the problems I've mentioned I can't get beyond 3. ... show more
