This shoe was fabulous after surgery—so easy to slip on and off! I have continued using them because of the convenience. Fits my long, medium-narrow feet perfectly. Not a very thick or padded sole, but washable and seems well-made. Very comfortable for indoors and out. Outside the grooves in the bottom do pick up small pebbles, so when I get home, if I walked in an unpaved place, I slip them off and take out any pebbles (I cannot feel them, but they may scratch floors?). I am a size 11.5 M or N, but that size is impossible to find, so I ordered a 12M. I always wear an absorbent athletic sock. Appearance is fine, but definitely not glamorous. Was nervous buying shoes online but these fit perfectly. wide enough and can easily slide feet in. the smaller sizes have a coupon that makes them cheaper but the larger / wide sizes lack that same coupon. still needed shoes though and do not regret getting. very comfortable. true to size. good for wide feet.     • Easy On-Off Walking Shoes - Not For My Toes.

I'm a Skechers fan - always will be. I had such high hopes for this model of their walking shoes. They came in 10.5 (thank you!) and wide width (thank you again), so I had very high hopes. When they arrived, I slid into them and was extremely gratified that taking the shoes off and putting them on required no bending, sitting or wriggling around to force my foot into them. It just works! The color and style is also really nice. The insole, of course, is Skecher magic. I just love how comfortable it is to stand in shoes that have their memory foam insole. Walking around in them was almost 100% a dream. The shoes seem to help propel you forward as you go, because of both traction and some modern wizardry that I cannot explain. So why only 4 stars? Don't worry, Skechers - it's not you. It's me. More specifically, it's my toes. I've battled my hammer toes for so long, and until recently I just resigned myself to dealing with the condition. But at the end of last summer, I found barefoot shoes with the nice wide toe box, and... well, I became spoiled. The *only* reason I went looking for another kind of shoe was to walk in places that had sharp rocks and unpredictable terrain. The sad news is that I am so spoiled by the barefoot shoes, that these just will not work for me. But, I will say this - of the two Skecher brand shoes I bought to try, this particular model was the very best. If I hadn't found a brand of barefoot shoe with a more substantial sole (see my other reviews) I would have kept this particular shoe. I haven't been able to touch my feet in years. So I have been using a shoe horn. A few years ago I purchased one of the 1st brands of hands free shoes. It was torture getting them on. And once they were on they were so uncomfortable I couldn't stand it. So here we are many years later. Still can't reach my feet but the inflammation in my feet has gone down so I was hoping that this would work. So I want to give it a try again. I know my sister wears these shoes so I thought I'd I'd give her give it a try. I was able to get them on hands-free. It was a little snug. I'm sure they'll stretch out a bit. My heel is not used to having anything push on it like the back of a shoe so I'll need to get used to that. But I at least have hands-free clothes toe shoes to wear now. This was just a random buy last year when it was on sale in need of new shoes. I didn't even notice at the time that they didn't have laces but now I'm back to buy another pair because why do any shoes have laces? I'm fortunate that I don't need these shoes for any specific mobility limitations but they're still perfect! For the gym, for mowing the yard, for walking miles - it does it all and you will never once have to stop to tie your shoelaces Also, I wore these shoes on a farm in a rainstorm, they were caked in mud (and other farm things) and soaked with rainwater - after a quick rinse and toss in the dryer they look brand new. Durable, comfortable and lacefree; what more could you need? (if you said more colors, i agree) ... show more
