I work as a baker in a restaurant and we need slip resistant shoes. It can be really hard to find shoes that are slip resistant and comfortable for a good price (most are usually around $75). I heard about Skechers from other coworkers being the best brand for being slip resistant and comfortable. I found this shoe. It was definitely snug the first day (as it is with every shoe you buy, gotta break them in first), but I am impressed because after wearing them all day, by the second day they fit so comfortable now. I love the slip resistance for wet, dry, oily surfaces and they are electrical hazard safe!!! And of course, the memory foam is appreciated and helps my feet not hurt and ache. They are very comfortable and easy to slip on. I bought them during winter and so far they have kept me from slipping on ice and they keep my feet dry from the snow due to their scotchgard treatment which repels water! They do have stretch laces so you cannot really adjust those to your liking, but you do not have to worry about them becoming untied. Very comfortable and I had no issues walking in them after that first day of breaking them in (which is fast, usually takes longer for new shoes to feel comfortable for me). I bought these for restaurant wear but realized the fabric top would not last long in my work place. It would end up getting embedded with food and just get gross. But... I liked the fit and comfort of these so much that I kept them just for everyday wear and I love them. Nice compact little neutral tennis shoe. Decent amount of cushioning. I haven't gone for long walks in them but they are comfortable enough that I'm actually going to try them as walking shoes. I love that they are slip-ons. If you don't work in food, like if you're in nursing, these would be fine for the work place, I'm actually kind of surprised they are advertising this fabric top as for restaurants. I don't know, maybe other restaurants don't ever drop food prep in the kitchen?? ... show more

My wife has these shoes for years and they are great! She’s on her feet for 10 to 12 hours a day and she says they are very comfortable. And they last her a little bit over a year and a very rough environment. Would highly recommend but make sure you buy genuine shoes and not a knock offs.

    • Get these if you’re on your feet all day and hate breaking in new shoes

I work as a housekeeper and these are by far the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I only get sketches because these are the only shoes that I can wear day one of getting them and my feet are so comfortable all day and there’s no need to break them in. I take about 18k steps everyday and am on my feet for 8 hours and I would recommend these to anyone. Slip resistant and durable. 10/10 great shoes! ... show more

These run big, so get a half size to a size smaller than you normally would, or get a regular size instead of wide. Overall, comfortable and easy slip-on. I needed more cushion for working on concrete floors. Like all Sketchers, they are made of good quality fabric, and last for a good 6 months or more. They do not have arch support, but are still comfortable. They were a little pricey, but all Sketchers are. I liked the style and stretch a little if you are wearing thick socks. Good work shoe if you walk all day, but not good for standing in one place all day. ... show more
