Finally put these sandals to use. First off, way nicer to have a walk in than sneakers as the airflow in summer helps to keep me cool. A lot of reviews showed the sandals ripping. I inspected the area, and it looks like the tough material that would make it more stable is not included in the seam with the elastic. I am going to use some upholstery thread ($2 at Walmart) and throw in a few looping stitches so that I don't run into the same problem. It would be much more stable if that little intersection had the main fabric sewn with the elastic. Until I get them stitched up more, I probably wont take them for a long or serious hike. Great for an easy walk down to farmers market or something though. They are very comfortable and I have wide feet that are hard to fit in sandals. ... show more

Update: so, I wore these for a couple of hours and one toe felt like it had bees stinging it! I then had a bruise on the toe—like it just hit in a weird spot. I ended up donating them. I think they’d be fine with narrower feet. These are comfy. Nice arch support. And wide enough for my chubby feet 😂 The only real issue I have with these is that —with the tan done colored pattern of the straps—they don’t really look like they are a pair. I can see that a strap on one part of my left foot is the same as a different part on my right foot, so I believe they are actually the same shoe. Just the way the straps have so many color variations and the fact that they don’t intentionally put the same color scheme in the same spot they don’t look like they’re the same shoe. But I am rather quirky anyway, so I am going to keep them 🙂 ... show more

These sandals have turned out to be the most comfortable to walk in. It took a short time to break them in and I did add some thin mole skin on the plastic clip to prevent any friction on long walks. I have walked for at least 2 miles several times and haven't had any foot pain. I may buy a second pair. The sole seems rugged so I'm hoping they don't wear down as quickly as softer rubber soles. I bought these for a trip to Japan, since we would be doing a lot of walking. They were comfortable, did not cause blisters. They are cute with the multi colors. I don't know where they could put the buckle for the style, but it lays on the foot instead of to the side, when I got them I thought they might rub and cause problems but it did not, I didn't feel it. I originally ordered a size 9, I wear a 9.5 and they didn’t have half sizes. Based on reviews I went down a half size, but they were just a bit too small for me. I sent them back and got a 10, which are a tiny bit long on me but that doesn’t seem to be a problem. I walk every day and go on nature trails often, and these are perfect for that. I bought these for an upcoming trip that is going to involve a lot of walking. I had originally planned to get myself some new gym shoes, but I realized in summer all I ever wear is flip flops because my feet get way too hot. I need something with good support, though, because flip flops aren't great for long distance walking. These sandals are really cute and comfortable, and though I haven't attempted any long walks just yet I think they will work fine. The little ridge on the sole of the shoe (where your toes are supposed to go I guess) is a little weird, not uncomfortable just weird placement if the shoes don't fit just right. These seems just slightly big for me, and I ordered my usual size, but I haven'd played around with adjusting the straps too much just yet. One warning - be careful closing those clasps! I was trying to quickly put these on to get out the door and got my skin caught in the clasp when I snapped it closed - OUCH!! ... show more

I am a size 8 1/2 and bought a 9. They are a little bit longer, as is the norm with whole sizes. But better that than too short. Very comfortable! Super cute! They have arch support on both sides, which is a bit odd for me. I only need arch support on the inside. However, the outside support hasn't bothered my foot. I have quite high arches, so the support doesn't totally fill the space, but it is the best I have found so far in a sandal. I really like that the colors are mismatched. I wore them for 8 hours the first day with no problems. I can see myself doing all sorts of things in these. I hope they last! ... show more
