Very comfortable. Good walking shoe if you have arthritis in hips. No pain when I wear these . I thought they were tie laces. As I had to get wide because of bunionettes , they are a little loose in heel. That slightly affects stability. I think if I get thicker , padded socks it will help. I really like these shoes. I have big feet and some foot issues that make finding comfortable shoes a challenge. These Skechers are great because they have room in the toes, are really well cushioned and because they tie up, I could order them a little wider and they won't slip off my feet.
