these shoes are a genuine lifesaver. i work at disney world and so i’m on my feet for 8-12 hours a day walking, standing, etc. when i first started back here i was coming from a sedentary job and so the pain was horrific. i had horrible shoes and every day i literally would cry out in pain bc it hurt so bad to even move. i am 20 years old and couldn’t hardly stand or walk more than a few feet. i get these shoes and i feel so much better at work. my feet don’t hurt nearly as much, so in turn neither do my hips or knees. i’m finally starting to feel like myself again.

I just received these today and put them on. It is really like walking on clouds. So far, so GREAT. My concern will be how they hold up over time. I do also have inserts but for now, I am not using them. However it is possible to put them into the shoe if needed by removing the lining - I've done this with a number of my other shoes. If these work I will be thrilled because I'm tired of paying so much for walking shoes ($ 150.00) a pop. It is just unreasonable. Fingers crossed and will update.

I have bought many Sketchers brand shoes over the past several years, and they continue to be better with each pair I buy. This walking shoe runs large for me, as I had to return them for a half size down. The return was easy and convenient. I love the “Joy” style, and especially the new colors and patterns offered. The colors are as shown on line, and the comfort and support are great. I don’t use these for working out, preferring a lace-up Sketchers style, but love these for looks, style and comfort in a casual shoe.

I'm so glad I got these. These are my first pair of Skechers, and the cushioning is so good that I don't think I'll have to add extra insoles. The arch support is the only issue, but I think it's temporary. I have flat feet, so any arch support makes itself known quickly. The arch support doesn't hurt, but I do feel something there. I think that's just a matter of breaking in the shoes and getting used to them, though, as already the arch support isn't as noticeable. Another reviewer mentioned that these were squeaky on hard floors, and they are. But that doesn't seem too loud.

These are NOT seconds or flawed shoes. These are first rate, the fit is perfect, and the price unbeatable. I not only use these for walking, but yard work, shopping, etc as they really support my feet and my legs don't tire. So let’s be honest. These shoes are hideous. However, I needed something all black that could be worn to work conference where I am walking15-20k steps each day and a lot of standing on a tradeshow floor. I ordered these as a last resort and wore them the entire conference and my feet NEVER hurt. No blisters, no rubbing, no throbbing. Extremely comfortable! This was my fifth year at this conference and the first time I could walk normally afterwards. Very happy with my purchase and will be wearing these to my work conferences from now on!

this is my 4th pair of these sneakers, I keep trying other brands and then returning them, coming back to these. I LOVE the fact that these come in wide width! plus, they fit like a TRUE wide width shoe should fit. I could probably go with a 9W, but I get the 9.5W so that they're still roomy even when my feet swell a bit in the humidity in the summertime. I have plantar fasciitis and a heel spur, and find these to be THE most comfortable sneakers for walking, and for pain-free standing for long periods of time. the toe-box is roomy to begin with, and between the wide width and flexible weave of the upper, my toes have plenty of "wiggle room," which I love. these are a great shoe for the $, and a STEAL if you can find them for under $50 on Amazon. sometimes I can, sometimes not for that price in the color I want, but even for $65-$70, they're well worth it. style-wise, they're pretty plain, meaning they work with any casual outfit, and go nicely with jeans, sweats, leggings or yoga pants. they're super comfortable without looking like "comfort shoes" (ie. orthopedic/nurse's shoes). the arch support is only average, nothing to write home about, and the memory foam footbed, while dreamy to walk on, probably also takes away from some of the arch support they do have. that happens to be 1 foot issue I DON'T have, thank goodness, so the fact that these are a bit lacking in that category isn't an issue for me. if it is for you, these probably aren't for you (try NB, tons of arch support and comes in wide widths). shipping was super-fast, and they arrived brand new in the box with all the original tags and packing. for me, these are as close to perfect a sneaker as I've found so far, and I highly recommend them.

I sometimes have problems with arthritis in my feet. These shoes are wonderfully comfortable and they are well balanced for walking. I can wear them every day! I would love it if you made more of your very attractive shoes in a size 12. So many that I admire stop at size 11. Thanks for taking my comments into consideration.
