Firstly, these shoes are really comfortable. I work long hours and some days I have 13 hr shifts. I love sketchers and would recommend them to anyone as a first choice! How ever I noticed after 3 months of steady every day use the sole of one shoe is actually peeling apart. (My other pair of sketchers arch support type shoes were worn for a year before they wore out) Now I don’t know if it’s due to the environment I work in (frameshop, where there is debris and even glass on the floor at times) or just standard wear and tear. Still thought it was worth a mention. And while these are “walking” shoes probably for athletes and outdoors persons, these still work great if you are on your feet all day “walking” at a laborious retail job or office.

Received today, wore only in the house, seem to be fine, fit good and comfortable, light weight, grey/coral, size 8, however, since not having to wear them outdoors yet my opinion may change??? They do not appear to be cheaply made and no indication that they may fall apart...

I got these because the running shoes I was previously using for long walks activated the plantar fasciitis I didn't know I had. At first I wasn't sure of these because they seemed to fit odd, the heel felt like it slipped a bit but after my usual 4 hour weekend walk and my feet weren't killing me and I didn't have any rubbing on my heel like I thought I would. By the time I got home my feet still felt mostly normal and weren't sore for days after like they have been. Definitely recommend for long walks on concrete.

I got a size 9, I wear a 8 1/2 because some many were saying they run small. They’re not too tight and the back don’t run against my heel. They’re quite roomy, and pretty. I’m always getting Sketchers for my older sister, first time for myself. I am very pleased with my purchase.
