To set the stage, I have EXTREMELY flat feet (I walk on the insides of my ankles when in slaps or barefoot and my feet "click" with every step). These shoes have been a HUGE help for me. While they do not correct the position of my foot 100% they do get me 80% there and have completely stopped my heel pain. My first pair I bought from the shoe store and wore them for a little over a year so this is my second pair and I see no difference in fit or quality. Couple of tricks I have learned with these. 1) Do not slip these on without untying them. You have to get your foot in the shoe correctly. So, I slide my foot in, extend my leg out in front and then tap the heel of the shoe a couple times on the ground to make sure my foot is fully nestled in at the back of the shoe. 2) If you are not used to wearing these don't go straight in to all day wear. If your feet are super flat or super arched these will adjust your foot position which changes your ankle and knee position which then adjusts your hips and, you got it, your back. Thats a huge amount of adjustment to get used to. So I started wearing these for trips to the store (a couple hours) then worked up to all day wear. 3) Keep in mind these are arch support shoes that are for those on a budget. You get what you pay for, so while these aren't the best on the market they also aren't the most expensive. I personally love these shoes and while they aren't life altering they have definitely taken away a lot of my pain and have put a little bounce back in my step.

The Arch Fit athletic shoes hug your feet and provide just the right amount of arch support to keep your feet comfy. I was able to wear them all day without foot fatigue. The fabric provides enough resistance that they feel snug but not restrictive. They are cool and lightweight with only a tiny bit of spongey spring in the footbed. I wear a wide, and these wides fit easily without having to 'wiggle' in. I usually wear a 10W, but they were out. So I went with 9.5W, and they fit great! These are 100% more comfortable than standard Sketchers. Go for the Arch Fit!

2nd pair like this. The toe wore out in the first pair at the rubber tip and fabric beneath. White soles stain. But the comfort is the best arch support without feeling an arch. Podiatrist designed.]

I like Skechers walking sneakers but felt like I needed something with a little more support. These are perfect. Very comfortable, true to size and the added support allowed me to walk further and longer (on vacation) without my back and knees hurting. I am a senior citizen and need all the help I can get!

I love these shoes and for the price they cannot be beat. I am in my eighties but still very active and the constant pain in my feet was having a very bad effect on my life style. I still do all my own cooking and cleaning plus I have a daily fitness routine I like to follow, but painful feet was really slowing me down. One of my sons suggested I try these shoes and from the first day I felt normal again and could walk without all the pain I had been having. They are a really great shoe.

Really loved the color of this shoe and was looking forward to having these. Unfortunately, I had to return them for fit and function reasons. The shoe is very tight across the top; very narrow toe box. I don't have wide feet, but these squeezed me. Thought maybe they would stretch out over time but didn't want to risk it and really couldn't wear them long enough around the house to find out. If you have bunions, neuromas or other forward foot issues, these are probably gonna hurt. I feel like the arch support is not as good as I was hoping given the name of the shoe and other customer reviews. I really want to feel the support and I didn't in these shoes. Also, my right heel would slip off to the outside of the shoe. I know you can lace the shoes to tighten the heel grip, but these are fabric (not leather) shoes and I'm worried that over time I won't be able to tighten them enough to hold my heel in the heel cup. Overall, if you have feet issues, these may not provide the comfort you'd expect.
