The media could not be loaded. I got these sneakers for my 13 year old daughter back in August for her to wear them for school as she started her 6th grade year at her middle school. At first I was pretty hesitated to get her these sneakers because it would look awkward on her since these are specifically for boys based on the color (black/blue) but I let her decide which shoes she wanted without disappointing her by saying no this time and she picked these sneakers for herself. When they arrived on time, she got super excited and immediately tried them on herself and stated that theyโre really comfortable on her although the fit is a little bit loose on her because I bought her size 5 and her actual size is 4 1/2, but they still stayed on her feet just a little bit loose though. As of today, these sneakers are still in good condition, no tear ups or anything like that and now she is obsessed wearing these sneakers because she now wears them every single day wherever she goes and does TikTok dance with them, especially for the fact that they light up as well. In my opinion, these sneakers can be worn by girls not just boys because they look well on my daughter.

My newly 7 year old loves these shoes. He has always liked the light-up kind, and Skechers has been a good brand for us. He's got wider feet, but not so wide as when they were toddler feet (we used Tsukihoshi shoes then) and they are comfortable. The lights are nice, the colors are bright but also easy to clean and the black background makes dirt less of a pain in the ...mom-washing-spot...lol.

My son wears these almost daily so I don't expect shoes to last very long. After 1 week of normal wear, the soles were separating from canvas at the toes and heels. After 3 weeks, the soles are worn out, the material on the toes is worn and torn. For the price, I'd like a shoe that lasts more than a month.
