Big fan of Sketchers, comfortable but not always durable (give them 2 years lifespan tops, some of the newer ones less than that) but as I get older comfort trumps dexterity. These are different, I wanted a replacement winter shoe, not a boot but a good comfortable shoe that is water proof with some thickness and warmth to it. Tried a few different versions (some with better sale prices) but settled on this version. It was guaranteed water proof (rather than water resistant) and had open loop hooks for the laces. I'm not a big fan of hooks, but to get in and out easily your really need them for the top two lace points. These also come in wide and extra wide, which makes a big difference for me. We'll see how long they last, they definitely have sturdy construction and look very sharp. Amazon had the better price point even though I had Sketcher dollars on their website.

I bought these boots for a 12 day trip to Iceland over Christmas and New Years. They were great. My feet stayed dry in all the snow and slush. They stayed warm during neg 19 C temperatures when hiking on glaciers and in the winter wonderland (I did double up on the wool socks a couple days). They were very comfortable and easy to break in. I walked in there for about 3 miles before I went and they were perfect for the trip. Highly recommend.

I have used these boots for my landscaping job for over a year. No wear, no tears, and the waterproofing still works as it did when I first got them. However, the metal hooks on the lace holes fall off after a while, but I've only lost one in about a year of use. I can still put the lace through the hole, even without the hook.

I got them for my husband to go hunting. Buying shoes online is very questionable but this worked out well. He has bad knees, back, neck etc.. He said they’re very comfortable and cheaper than getting them from the Sketchers store.

2nd pair I have purchased. Warm, comfortable boots. Only issue is that the shoelace hooks only last a couple of years but the body of the boots are intact. Will always buy these.

I really liked them but I had to return them. The size is not right. I wear 10.5 and these were more like a 12.5 xx wide. Felt like I could put my regular shoes inside them. Get smaller size or be ready to return....

Finally an extremely nice hiking shoe that fits wonderfully. I wear a size 14 extra wide and it is hard finding shoes that fit properly even going into shoe stores they can’t find something that fits me. The only downfall was the laces sketchers need to spend a couple extra bucks on that for a perfect product .I replace them immediately but not a dealbreaker.
