These shoes are great for walking in the kitchen. Great traction. Seem very waterproof so far. I have wide feet and it's been hard to find shoes that fit, so I am very pleased that these shoes fit! My biggest complaint is the cardboard insole. It is paper thin and offers no support or comfort. It is also very annoying because they glued it in, making it next to impossible to remove without tearing it. I had to spend time scraping away the old insole at the heel so my replacements could fit properly.

My husband has very sensitive feet because he’s diabetic. I have bought some very expensive shoes that are supposed to be for diabetics , yet these he states are the most comfortable. Yay! Skechers nice to know a cheaper yet good quality shoe a diabetic loves them.

I work security overnights & walk 5-10 miles a shift & these are pretty much perfect for the price. Runs large- I'm normally a regular size 11, but these are just right in 11 & 1/2 wide. My last pair of similar Sketchers only lasted about 320 miles (per my pedometer) before the soles started separating & needed glueing to prevent further damage (& are no longer trustworthy for an entire shift) & those were 11's that were too tight. So the value overall remains to be determined, but comfortable & water resistant so far.

For food serving, my first pair were great. No pain at all and lasted for years! Bought another pair but the footbed quickly causes heel pain/fatigue. Bought some replacement insoles, but the one in the shoe is glued in.
