This time however, my high school aged son who is now working at Dairy Queen, needed a pair of good working shoes, that will hold up against slippery floors, water and ice cream falling on them. I’m working as a closer in a Deli. My hope was to have comfortable and functional shoes. Unfortunately the comfort declines after wearing them for a few hours. When they get wet they take ages to dry and you can’t even take the soles out to help with that. So just after a few weeks the shoes smell like death. I had other shoes that worked a lot better.
