Comfortable and lightweight, but shoe will only last maybe a year if used daily for extended (3+ mile) walks. Worth it though.

Longtime customer of Skechers shoes mainly because of the x-wide sizes that fit my feet like a glove. I get excellent durability from specific designs that I use at work and for long walks. Their well-built shoes (Not all styles, mind you.) last & last, and provide outstanding comfort because of their excellent fit and resilient, supportive sole cushions. For long hours on concrete floors I normally buy a size slightly larger than my feet, then add arch and heel support insoles. (But not 'memory foam' insoles as they compress too much and don't provide the bounce I prefer.) I use this particular shoe for long walks because of it's lightweight design. Hopefully the recent acquisition of Skechers by another institution won't negatively affect their long term quality, design and style. ... show more

I really like these shoes. They are very lightweight, and the uppers are breathable which keeps feet free from perspiration while wearing them. The insole is very nicely cushioned and comfortable, while providing proper support. I stand on concrete floors for 4 to six hours per day and my feet are not tired, swollen or sore at the end of the day. The outer sole is thick but flexible enough to make walking easy and comfortable. I like Skechers, because I know the size is consistent from style to style. I've been wearing these Skechers Go Walk Max shoes for about a week. First, I did not expect that the entire upper part would be a fabric without various panels, but I think I like it. I find them unexpectedly light and quite comfortable. I also find them easier to put on than some other shoes. The soles are less rigid than other shoes I've worn, so I can feel more when I walk over rough ground, but they still give plenty of protection. I like the fact that they are machine washable, so if the black exterior ever gets dirty, I can just throw them into a washing machine (on cold) to clean up (and hopefully reduce any built up stinky shoe smell). I'm looking forward to seeing how well the shoes wear long-term, but at this point, I would buy this model again. ... show more

These shoes have been a life changer! I am extremely picky when it comes to shoes and how breathable and comfortable they are, and these shoes have exceeded my expectations. They fit perfectly and I feel like I am walking on extreme memory foam of some sort. 19,000+ steps in one day and I have no pain in my feet!
