Update: I went out and walked 3 miles in these today. They feel like a mattress. I love them. No pain. No discomfort at all. I will buy again. I just received these Skechers Men's Go Walk Max today. I tried them on and the cushioning is amazing; it feels like a mattress. I jogged for nearly 30 years and now walk. These shoes have more cushion than any pair of running shoes I've ever had. I used to put extra cushioned insoles in all of them, but not this. And they are very, very light. I just walked outside and inside the house. I haven't taken them for a long walk yet, but they feel great, and I know they will perform well. I bought size 13 X wide. The fit is good and the width is good, as well, with no problems. I've been wearing these Skechers Go Walk Max shoes for about a week. First, I did not expect that the entire upper part would be a fabric without various panels, but I think I like it. I find them unexpectedly light and quite comfortable. I also find them easier to put on than some other shoes. The soles are less rigid than other shoes I've worn, so I can feel more when I walk over rough ground, but they still give plenty of protection. I like the fact that they are machine washable, so if the black exterior ever gets dirty, I can just throw them into a washing machine (on cold) to clean up (and hopefully reduce any built up stinky shoe smell). I'm looking forward to seeing how well the shoes wear long-term, but at this point, I would buy this model again. ... show more

Comfortable and lightweight, but shoe will only last maybe a year if used daily for extended (3+ mile) walks. Worth it though.

So far these shoes have lasted 5 times as long as any other shoe i have purchased in the last 10 years and are still going strong after 10 months. My shoes start falling apart in two months. My big toe has poked a hole in the mesh but they don't fall apart at the seams like other Skechers do, because they don't have any seams, lol. Very comfortable as well and keep my feet cool and no fungus proliferation either. No visible wear on the soles. Love them. Ordering a second pair. ... show more
