This is my second pair of these shoes. I bought a pair back in 2018 for an international trip. They held up great for all of the city walking we did and then some when we got back. We’re about to take another trip to the same place and these were #1 on my list to buy again. The only reason I’m buying another set is because we moved and I misplaced my old pair. Trust me, I searched hard for them. These shoes aren’t waterproof, so if you think you might encounter rain, just prepare for that. Also, the tread on the bottom is foam-like and can be slippery on certain surfaces. In our case, we got them for Portugal, which features a combination of polished stone walkways and intense hills. Even in slightly damp conditions, you need to be careful. This is an extreme case though (as far as casual wear goes). The shoes are machine washable so no worries about getting them a bit dirty. I’ll gladly recommend them. They are good all-rounders. If you need something specific from a shoe other than comfort, you might find better options, but if you just need a comfortable all purpose shoe, this is it. ... show more

I was skeptical at first when trying out the Skechers Men's Go Walk Max sneakers, but after just a few steps I knew that they would be life-changing! Being on my feet for hours at work can be grueling and painful at times, but these shoes provide perfect cushioning and support that make it much easier. What really sets them apart from other sneakers is the excellent arch support; it's like having mini pillows on your feet! They are also surprisingly lightweight, which makes walking even more comfortable. I like the light weight shoe. Great traction. Had to get used to them over the first 2 weeks. . I walk 2-miles a day (5-days a week) at 3.8-to-4.0 mph (fast walk) with 3-to-5-degrees incline on a treadmill. No dragging my feet, for sure. Caught me off-guard the first few days. I am a Senior and have been buy Sketchers sneakers for years. I put lots of miles as these sneakers and rarely wear leather shoes anymore. Insole is also comfy. ... show more

Those photos show the regular and wide size side by side, they are both size 9, just one is 9WIDE. And oh man is it a bigger shoe. If you have a "slightly wide" foot and are considering ordering the Wide size, I have to warn you the Wides are VERY wide and looser all around. The regular size is a good comfortable snug fit, not as loose in the mid & toe as I was hoping and that's why I also ordered a Wide size to compare. For a regular foot you may find the Wides TOO floppy & loose. Check out those photos and you can see how the 9Wide is noticeable a bigger fatter shoe than the 9 regular. I'm 70 lbs overweight and have to be on my feet all day on concrete. Most shoes I've purchased around this price don't have much padding and will lose its cushioning in a month or two. At that point I have to get rid of them because of the pain from feeling like I'm walking barefoot. These sketchers have a nice thick padding that feels great! I can go all day without having sore feet! It's only been 2 weeks of use but they still feel as good as new. Really hopeful these will last a while! ... show more

Very comfortable, like walking on air. However, I ordered wide and they are a little too wide. I think I could have been ok with just 8 normal as they are very flexible. I liked them so much I order a second pair, due to comfort and decent price.

As of to date, I have not had any negative issues with the product. Product was originally purchased as a walking shoe for exercise. After receiving the product and wearing the product. My original plans were changed...I'm gonna save these for causal wear and find something for walking...they are REALLY comfortable. P.S : Something to be mindful of. They fit perfectly right out of the box, and feel like walking on clouds. The quality seems about on par with the price though, and the treads are already showing damage after a few days. To be fair, I weigh 290lbs and walk 2+ miles daily, so your experience may vary. Definitely coming back for another pair when these burn out. ... show more
