I am pleasantly surprised how comfortable these shoes are for walking. Slip in/out shoes are great for airline security checkpoints. Lightweight and good for travel or anytime.

Overall I like these shoes. They have a good feel, and are great for long walks which is what I wanted. It was also important to me that they be slip on. Note: they run large. I normally wear an 11 but found that the 10.5 fits perfectly. But there are two things I don't care for: 1. They are a "slip on" but at least with my feet and my shoes, you don't just stand there and slip them on. I have to sit down and pull them on which is a nuisance. If you try to just "step in" most of the time you just crush the heel and end up having to sit down to pull it back up right. 2. They "hold onto" gravel rocks like crazy!! We have a long gravel driveway, and virtually every time I walk there, 2 or 3 good-size gravel rocks stick in the tread... 1/2" rocks typically are the ones that stick. The tread holes are huge - and this happens constantly. I come walking in the house and it sounds like I'm going to tap dance until I pull the rocks out of the treads. Whoever designed them surely lived in a big city and never once tested them on a gravel surface. Otherwise, I think they're great shoes for the money.

Recently purchased a pair of these skechers. They are so very comfortable right out of the box. They do fit true to size. I've owned Hoka shoes in the past. These skechers fit and feel every bit the same with the same quality and at fraction of the price. Skecher, I'm back as a fan for life. Excellent shoe and I very highly recommend. You won't be disappointed. I have nothing bad I can say about them, and I'm a very hard person to please when it comes to footwear. I like to take care of my feet. And with my low back issues, these skechers truly do have the soft soul and bounce back when you walk just like the hoka bondi does. They are super light weight and they breathe.

These are the most comfortable shoes that I've ever owned and I will probably stick to Sketchers for most of my future shoe purchases. I go to Vegas pretty often and my last trip there was the first where I didn't have sore feet for a week afterward from all the excessive walking around I do. I was even out and walking around on my last day there which I usually reserve for relaxing at the hotel. The reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because they were too loose and had no mechanism for tightening them despite having an elastic band built in. I had to cut the elastic band and buy some plastic cord locks to make them adjustable and while functional they don't look as nice. I suppose I could also just tie the elastic bands off and hide the knot but I like to be able to tighten them a bit more than normal if I'm going to be out walking all day versus wearing them around the house or at work.
