Fit as size stated were a few of the negative reviews. I figured at the worse, I could return them. The fit was EXACTLY correct. They do not have great arch support, but that isn't an issue. I just had joint replacement and I had to secure comfortable shoes, non-slip soles that I could get into with the help of a long shoe horn. It will be months before I can bend down or cross my legs for my beloved tennis shoes. These are perfect. The side benefit; they are comfortable in an all day environment. I purchased these as what I thought was an identical replacement for a pair of the Sketchers Go Max Athletic walking shoes that I bought a couple of years ago and fit me like a glove and I enjoyed so much that I wore them out. Ordering the exact same size of the exact same product line from the exact same manufacturer, I assumed that the fit would be exactly the same, but... it's not. The "clinched" version of the same shoe is much looser, to the extent that my feet slid around inside the shoe and the shoes kept falling off - not a minor difference. I exchanged the clinched version for the base version and, what do you know, they fit like a glove again. So, these are awesome shoes, extremely lightweight and comfortable, and I recommend them highly, just bear in mind that the clinched ones are significantly looser than the unclinched ones. ... show more

I'm an older person with very flat feet and until now it's been difficult to find a moderately priced slip-on walking shoe for around the house that really fit well. When I tried on these Sketchers and walked around a bit... wow, I was very pleasantly surprised how well they fit... not too tight and not too loose. The cushion feel when walking in these shoes on a hard floor leaves you feeling there's thick plush carpet and padding under your feet!!! ... show more

I bought this for my brother. He's a lot older than I am and it was having a hard time walking after I bought him these shoes he was more secure when he walked he. Didn't think he was gonna fall these are great shoes everybody should get some for their brothers.

I got these for my dad. He wanted sneakers that slip on but still look nice. These are very nice looking and slip on easy. He's in his 80's and says these are the most comfortable shoes he's ever had in his entire life.

I bought the 13 XW as I have a bigger foot, but it’s maybe 2-3 inches bigger than any other 13 XW so it fits a bit loosely. Might have to buy a size or half a size smaller next time.

normally wear a 12, but had to have a 13 in these for the slip on to work, memory foam sole takes some getting used to but they are comfortable
