I had to return the pair that I had originally purchased and exchanged it for a wide pair. Based on the reviews, I was surprised that I had an issue with the width of the shoes. I normally do not have to purchase wide shoes and didn't think I would need them for this either. I was able to get into the regular width shoe, but it was tight. Definitely not a fit I would want to wear and walk in. Once I received the wide pair, I could appreciate how light and cushiony these shoes are. I purchased them for an upcoming trip and wanted something that I could easily slip in and out of on the plane and when visiting temples. For that purpose, I think these will be great. I haven't had a lot of time to wear these yet. I'm mostly wearing them around the house right now. The only potential issue, I've noticed is that the arch on these shoes is pretty low; that, plus the very plush cushion, has me wondering about what it will be like walking miles in these shoes. I've had a pair for a while now. The shoe offers ZERO lateral support. So you can walk paths, streets, or sidewalks, but don't try to use them if you're walking trails or anything with a slope. I like these shoes but where I normally wear a size 10 tie shoe, a slip-on of that size slips on my heel as I walk so I am returning these for a smaller size to grip my heel better. Nothing wrong with the shoe except they fit looser than tie shoes.

Very comfy shoes. I got weird feet so getting a good fit is hard. These were kind of loose, which I viewed as a detriment so I sent them back. I've since reconsidered and now that I've worn them a bit I like them. They do come off a little too easy. I'm definitely not outrunning a bear in these. But for day to day errands and work they are nice and the design plus the extra room makes them very breathable. My feet are as dry when I get home as when I leave. These are my first pair of slip ons. I originally bought them for Disneyland, but they are so comfortable that I wear them everywhere (even though my siblings call them my "old man shoes"). Excellent value for the price. My only complaint is that the tongue sits well-above the top of my foot. It makes them great for standing but less good for walking. I mitigated this somewhat by adding tongue pads, but there is still more of a gap than I'd like. ... show more

These shoes are great as slip-ons and wonderful around the house. However, I would not expect to go on a long walk or other activities that require very good foot support. Better to change shoes for more support when walking over a mile.

I really like these shoes, so why did I only give them 4 stars? It may sound trivial but my search for Sketchers began in earnest when I saw an ad with Joe Montana sporting his slip-ins. I cannot get these shoes on without using a hand. I'm not lazy but that really was the main selling point as far as I was concerned HOWEVER, for the price, I'll learn to use my fingers. Once these things are on your feet, you will forget you have shoes on so the fingers are a minor inconvenience I will learn to live with. ... show more

Very difficult to access which shoe is which. Wanted slip ins (no hands to put on). Got slip ones instead…requires hands on to get on foot. After a stroke, just needed slip ins. Returned these & found the others
