The footbed shape is comfortable, for my foot anyway which is average shape and somewhat flat footed. I just wish it was a bit softer/springy, not bad tho and is probably one of the reasons the shoe is fairly light and easy to walk in. The sole was a bit stiff initially so my heel was lifting, but during the first use and only use it has started to soften. Very waterproof. Stepped in a deep puddle and no water got in. The mud cleaned off easily. Traction was good on grass but have not walked on hills yet. I could feel the soles slipping a tiny bit on smooth cart paths. Hopefully that will improve as the new sole surface wears. Good after one use. ... show more

The first pair were 1/2 size too small. I exchanged them for the next size. The box indicated size 10 but the shoes were 9.5. I immediately returned them and I am now waiting for the third pair. Hopefully the box will indicate 10 AND the shoes will be 10 also. I am hoping someone from Skechers will see this review and correct the problem. The one star is for the mess up. A great shoe that feels so good for walking. After 25 rounds the right shoe mechanism broke. Less than 4 months of use and 25 rounds. Can’t find warranty information anywhere. Proceed with caution if you walk a lot.
