I regularly walk on a paved trail .... I was finding that my feet hurt when using regular shoes. Tried these and they improved my comfort after long walks. Would like the soles to be more durable .... they are the typical soft soles and wearing out, but perhaps that's just from the constant use on a harsh surface. ... show more

Looks very nice either for dress up or casual. Sturdy upper material, lightweight and easy to clean. There is a little resistance to get the shoe on because the laces are not adjustable, they are for style. There is a strong and durable looking elastic instead which can make for easy slip on but may give a some resistance, a shoe horn is recommended. Great arch support and non skid ... show more

I really like this shoe but I've only been able to wear it a few times and for a short time, there's something about the way it's made that hurts the top of my foot. So I'm updating my review. I wore the shoes a few times for short periods of time. It seems I helped to break them in so they no longer bother the top of my foot. I like these shoes. They're comfortable now ... show more

I love this shoe; it gives me great support when I am walking or standing for long periods of time. I also really like the color; it goes with most everything. A person buying this, or other Sketchers shoe needs to be sure of the width as styles come in different widths. In this shoe style, the D'Lux Walker Pensive Oxford, it comes in a relaxed fit, which usually works for me but in this particular style I need the extra wide in order for it to fit right. It seems to mold to my foot as I walkand as I said it is extremely comfortable and wears well. The price on got on Amazon was $20 - $25 cheaper than buying it on the Sketchers site or most others for that matter. ... show more
