This is my 3rd pair of these afterburners and they all have the same issue that leads to their ultimate demise... The sole comes unglued starting at the toe flap. If they upgrade their glue these shoes would last me two years but as is I'm lucky to make it through the year. I'm hard on shoes, I have a tree trimming and lawn care business so for 9 months of the year I'm on my feet and climbing through some tough terrain. The shoestrings outlast the glue on the sole but otherwise a decent and comfortable shoe. Will buy another pair next year but would be nice if they would hold up until the tread was worn out. ... show more

The sneakers themselves are very nice ...they fit great and were very comfortable ...but sweet baby Jesus....the bottoms are like hard plastic so they are already very slick on hard surfaces...add a little water and it's like ice skating ⛸️ I fell down a flight of stairs and really hurt my back wearing these so be careful if you purchase them :) ... show more

I have tried several different brands of "tennis shoes" and these Sketchers are the best out of them all. I see and read the bad reviews here and form my point of view the negative reviews are untrue. Those people are obviously doing extreme workouts that would tear up even heavy leather boots. I have been wearing my Sketchers everyday since I bought them in the family welding shop on a concrete floor and normal daily use and I am very pleased with these shoes. I will be buying more and I highly recommend them to anyone. The sizes are accurate. ... show more

I have been buying Sketcher's for about ten years now. For me, it's the best fitting and most comfortable tennis shoe. The only issue I have experienced is the durability. Seems to come apart at the soles only after a year or so. More so when I wash them. But for price I've paid on Amazon, still can't be beat. ... show more

I had another pair of Skechers but the sole that curls around the toes started separating from the rest of the shoes. I glued it back and using it for yard work now (they are very comfortable). So, I wanted another pair and came across this pair - nice design and had similar features., Wearing them regularly and they are very nice - lots of support and comfort. So far, so good. I am a fan of Skechers shoes. I have worn them almost exclusively for 7 or 8 years. These are a little heavier and slightly less flexible than I expected. Not too heave, and dot inflexible, but not quite what I expected, either. They wear well, with good support and seem to have good durability. Fit as I expected. I take a size 10 wide but wanted a half size wider because one of my feet has had 2 surgeries and I needed looser shoes but didn't want to sacrifice good looks or durability. These are just right and at around $45 dollars these sneakers don't break the bank. Recommend true to your size Skechers, that's what you will get with these shoes! ... show more

    • Soles are too stiff, shoe does not bend comfortably as you walk.

Very well made shoe with a comfortable fit when standing still, however when you walk the sole does not bend with your foot, makes it feel like you are walking with a board glued to your foot. I was a little disappointed with that feeling. They look nice though.
