The shoes look great and feel fantastic, according to my Pop's. I actually ordered them for myself, size 12 X Wide, which is shoukd be a 12 4E. They were too tight / snug for me to wear. Pop's, wears a 12 3E and they fit him perfect. If you have a very wide foot, 4E & up, I suggest ordering the next size width. Pop's is extremely picky, about clothing & shoes. If they passed his test, your good to go. Make sure you use the sizing guide and big wide feet, need to go up an extra Width. Length was fine. I've spent lots on expensive orthotic shoes, but time and time again, they don't last. Skechers has the extra wide width I need and the deep toe box I need as well. They are a ⅓ of the cost and last 2-3x longer. They look better; a bonus. My feet are very flat, fallen arches, 3-4x width at the toes. Suffer from pain daily, ingrown toenails, and neuropathy. These shoes help relieve much of this discomfort simply by fitting properly. Buying on Amazon is an added bonus because you can usually find better deals, yet they are the same shoes you get directly from Skechers site or store. ... show more

Being on my feet 12-14hrs a day is a lot easier with good shoes. It is amazing how wearing good shoes helps not only the feet, but knees, hips and back too. Sometimes shoes can feel comfortable on the feet all day, but after a few hours if the feet are still basically comfortable but your knees and back start hurting, rethink the shoes. This particular sneaker wears evenly and does not have that slight pitch forward like so many soles do. That slight forward pitch forces my body to make subtle adjustments in my posture to compensate, in turn making my knees, hips and back ache as the day wears on. I'm a senior, and in my younger years I was hit by a drunk on the highway... causing a great deal of damage to my left foot (broken toes, total loss of skin on top and nephropathy). As I've aged, I find that this design is as comfortable, if not more comfortable, than specialized shoes prescribed by my doctor. Only one thing to be a little aware of. We like to hike, and the broad based and tapered sole of the shoe are great in reducing an ankle twists, but I have wedged the tapered sole a couple of times between two narrow spaces. These shoes have almost always been great for me. I'm a bigger guy with wide feet, so very few shoes are both durable and comfortable as I'm on my feet a lot. So, my only real issue with these is the insole. Memory foam feels great and all, but it's not durable for long term wear. In only a couple months there were big holes in the fabric and foam at the balls of my feet. These insoles are not removable, (glued in), so not as easy to replace as I'd like. I have got these work shoes the last 5 years. They hold up well. Last about 18 months. Then my small toes go through the side. But I add ergo pads, so I'm putting pressure were it's not designed. Love them though!
